MeinMMO author Dariusz spoke with German-speaking Destiny expert Nexxoss about The Final Shape. Here you can find out what he thinks of the new subclass.
Bungie invited MeinMMO author Dariusz to test The Final Shape. At the preview event, he met several Destiny experts and also spoke with the German-speaking YouTuber and Twitch streamer “Nexxoss Gaming”.
The two exchanged views on the content of the upcoming expansion and its gameplay. For you, we asked Nexxoss directly what he, as a Destiny expert, thinks of the new subclass Prismatic and what his impression of the new exotics is.

Nexxoss on Prismatic: “The community will have a lot of fun with this”
MeinMMO: Would you like to briefly introduce yourself to our readers?
Nexxoss: “I am known on YouTube and Twitch as Nexxoss Gaming. I have been creating content on Destiny 1 and Destiny 2 for 10 years, so I’ve been here since the beginning and even played the beta of Destiny 1 back then. Nowadays, I feature more than just Destiny on my two YouTube channels and Twitch channel. However, I have never stopped playing Destiny, and the game still captivates me even after all these years.”
MeinMMO: What do you think of the new subclass Prismatic?
Nexxoss: “I find the idea extremely cool. I believe many Guardians have wanted the ability to mix abilities for a long time. With Final Shape, a small dream is coming true.
Since I had the pleasure of testing the abilities, I can say: it feels pretty cool. There are many combinations possible with the abilities, which can then all be enhanced with the exotic armors and weapons. I believe the community will have a lot of fun with this.”

The Titan exotic “gives rocket launchers a whole new meaning”
In addition to his impression of the new subclass, Nexxoss also shared how he feels about the new exotics. The “Golden Gun” sniper rifle and the rocket launcher chest armor left a special impression:
MeinMMO: What do you think of the new exotics?
Nexxoss: “So far, I like them a lot. When The Final Shape releases, I will of course need to test everything again, but so far: very cool!”
MeinMMO: Is there an exotic that you particularly like?
Nexxoss: “In terms of weapons, I’m currently very intrigued by the exotic sniper ‘Still Hunt’. Particularly the Hunter is likely to benefit greatly from the new sniper, as it can be combined with the exotic helmet ‘Celestial Night Hawk’ to deal even more damage. Nevertheless, Warlocks and Titans can also make good use of the exotic, simply because the ability in this form is unique.”

Nexxoss: “For me, the Titan exotic ‘Hazardous Propulsion’ stands out among the armors. The rockets fired by the exotic chest armor are really strong, but especially the enhancement of rocket launchers that occurs after using the exotic perk gives rocket launchers a whole new meaning. I am curious about the damage tests of the armor once The Final Shape is released.”
Rocket Launchers and Golden Gun
What makes Still Hunt special? Still Hunt is a solar sniper rifle whose exotic perk turns it into a Golden Gun. As with the Hunter’s super, the new exotic rifle also has a bar that charges up when you collect Power Orbs or land precision hits.
Once the bar is completely filled, you can hold down the reload button and transform the rifle into a Golden Gun. Afterwards, you have three “Golden Gun” shots, with the damage dealt increasing with each subsequent shot.
In “Golden Gun” mode, you do not consume special ammunition; on the contrary, you even hold three shots when you activate the mode.
What makes Hazardous Propulsion special? Hazardous Propulsion is an exotic chest armor for the Titan that loads kinetic Exodus rockets when you score precision hits or final blows with your weapons. These rockets are then fired at designated targets when you use your class ability.
Additionally, Hazardous Propulsion temporarily increases the damage dealt by all other rockets when you deal damage to an enemy with the Exodus rockets. In initial tests, the damage boost was about 35% for 10 seconds, although this value may change by the official release of The Final Shape.
