In Destiny 2, clever players continuously discover ways to make the Guardian’s daily life easier. Learn with us how to skip the most annoying part of the dungeon using a glitch and how each of the three classes does it.
What is the Shattered Throne? The Shattered Throne is the first dungeon in Destiny 2 and invites exploration since Forsaken. This activity features tricky puzzles, jumping passages, and challenging bosses.
The dungeons are very popular among players, but some sections can still be frustrating. Especially the boss fight against Ogre Vorgeth can ruin a flawless solo run for some Guardians. With the method presented, you can solve the problem in less than two minutes.
Skip the fight against Ogre Vogeth
The glitch to skip is possible with all three Guardian classes. However, the implementation looks a little different for each class. Additional important information are:
- Do not jump down into the boss arena. If you do, you are already too far and must fight the boss normally.
- If you are aiming for the Exo bow Wishender, simply jump into the abyss after the glitch. This saves you some jumps and time, and you can interact with the quest statue.
- If you aim for a flawless dungeon run, expect some additional jumps and do not return to the quest statue.
Here’s how to do it with the Titan: The Titan has it the easiest of all classes. Equip a sword and the middle Arc tree (Thundercrash). Start at the spot where you would jump into the boss arena.
Step back a few steps from the ledge and look at the archway where you just stood. You see two vases and creeping plants. To your right, at the top of the adjacent archway, you will see a gap – that’s where you want to go through.
Jump onto one of the vases or into the plants on the wall and activate your super. Maneuver through the gap and keep left to land on a ledge outside the map. From here, just go straight ahead and slightly left. You can see the exact route in the embedded video:
Here’s how to do it with the Warlock: As a Warlock, you equip a sword and need to switch between gliding and short teleport (Blink). High mobility and, for instance, the Transversive Steps help you achieve your goals.
Start again at the archway overgrown with vines. Glide until you pull yourself up on the vines. Equip Blink and look to the left. Teleport through the narrow gap at the top of the archway.
Once you are through the gap, swing your sword and maneuver left onto the platform. Jump to the right and ascend along the exterior wall of the building. If you want to make it easier, switch to the Shadebinder and use the “Icarus Dash” ability.

Here’s how to do it with the Hunter: The glitch is also possible with the Hunter, but it’s significantly more challenging to execute. You need your Blade Barrage and plenty of mobility – so equip the ST4MP-F3R (Stompies).
Your starting point is towards the entrance. So step back a good distance from the balcony of the boss arena, until you reach the point where the path splits into two corridors. There you will notice a large statue in the center. Jump cheekily onto her head.

Opposite you, there is a balcony; jump over there. You notice that an invisible wall prevents you from passing. Turn your back to the barrier and activate your Blade Barrage super in the right corner. This way, you’ll push yourself into a new area.
Once here, you need to overcome further barriers using sword swings.
This video shows exactly how to proceed. It explains the route and method for Warlocks, Titans, and Hunters in detail.
What is it like in practice – My conclusion: Although I love the entire dungeon, I wanted to find out: How practical is the glitch in reality? I decided as a Warlock main to skip Vorgeth with my Warlock on PlayStation 4.
I’m not an expert on glitches or areas outside the game map. But during raids, I have ventured a bit beyond the usual paths.
And lo and behold, after just a few attempts, I teleported accurately past Vorgeth. For the following jumping passage, I relied on the videos of glitch experts. But I think in the future I can take this path without visual support.
What do you think of the exploratory spirit of some Guardians? Will you skip the Ogre too, or do you prefer to fight the boss?
