In Destiny 2 we show you all Lost Sectors, their locations, and entrances. This is how you find them and grab the loot.
The open-world activities in Destiny 2 include the Lost Sectors. These are hidden mini-dungeons, where a boss and a chest full of loot always await you. On each location, namely in the EDZ, Nessus, Titan, Io, Mars, as well as in the Tangled Shore and the Dreaming City, there are several of them. Only Mercury offers just one.
Your task in a Lost Sector is to eliminate the boss, which grants you a loot key. With it, you can loot the chest found at the end of each Lost Sector.
The real task, however, is to get into a Lost Sector first!
In Destiny 2 Forsaken, you need to find certain Lost Sectors to solve the Talisman quest. You can find out how to do this in the link.
Finding Lost Sectors – Symbols show the way
When searching for a Lost Sector, first take a look at your map. The Sectors are displayed on the map with this symbol:
However, you cannot mark a Lost Sector – meaning, only the approximate location is shown, the game does not lead you automatically inside. You have to find the entrance yourself.
In the open world, you should look out for these symbols:
