In Destiny 2, the summer event is currently running, where you need to upgrade the Solstice armor, among other things. Players have now found two locations where you can efficiently get the necessary kills.
This is the armor: The Solstice armor from the new summer event can be obtained from Eva Levante. More precisely: You will receive a helmet as a starting item, with which you must navigate through the European Air Zone. Then you will receive the complete Solstice set.
During the event, you will upgrade these. There are a total of three tiers:
- The “Renewed” set at the beginning
- The “Majestic” set as second
- The “Magnificent” set to finish
From “Majestic” onward, there are also ornaments with a glow effect available for purchase. You have until September 8 to upgrade to “Majestic.” The “Magnificent” set can still be unlocked afterward if you already have “Majestic.”
There are many kills in these locations
Here you can farm: To upgrade the armor, you need to complete a lot of tasks. A complete overview can be found in our guide to the Solstice armor. Of course, this includes many kills in various forms.
To process these as efficiently as possible, it is worth clearing places with many enemies. Reddit user “PrinceNyx” pointed out two locations that offer just that: plenty of enemies (via reddit). Both are located in the Dreaming City.
The first location is the lost sector “Coast of Lost Wishes,” located near the landing zone of the Dreaming City. There you will encounter several enemy types that respawn continuously as long as you keep the shielded lurkers alive. You can find all lost sectors here in overview.
The second location can also be found in the Dreaming City. This is the strike “The Corrupted,” which originally comes from the quest for the Exotic “Misdeed”.
There you will initially encounter an ogre, next to which small enemies spawn. As long as the ogre lives, new spawns will keep coming. This location is suitable for collecting elemental orbs. However, the kills here only count as strike kills, not playlist kills.
