7:06 PM: The maintenance has been completed as scheduled. The download for PC is 111.7 MB and Bungie has already released the patch notes. You can find them further down in the article.

4:15 PM: The Destiny 2 servers have just gone offline for maintenance. After the downtime, if everything goes as planned, the new week in Destiny 2 will start. You can find the complete schedule further down in the article.
This is what you need to know today: A planned maintenance phase is upcoming, which will bring some temporary changes to the game. To be optimally prepared and not miss any important information, we have compiled all the relevant details for you as always.
Many players are hoping that Bungie will soon get the ongoing DDoS attacks under control. However, the community has not been inactive in this regard.
- The attackers have been keeping players from gaming for days, and they have now taken it upon themselves to find out who is ruining the game almost daily.
- Luckyy10P has also proven that the DDoS attacks are not an excuse, as some players initially suspected.
- Additionally, players like cbro have set up a livestream on Twitch that informs you about the current availability of the Destiny 2 servers. There, you can immediately see when a new DDoS attack is underway.
During the maintenance phase, some content adjustments will be made to improve the gaming experience in Destiny 2. These include potential bug fixes, adjustments to weapons or abilities, and preparing the game for upcoming changes.

Maintenance on 26.09. – All times for server down
These times are important today: Bungie shares all information about maintenance work via Twitter/X and we will continually inform you about the downtimes in Germany. The planned downtime is again 2 hours and 45 minutes today.
This is the exact schedule for the maintenance:
- At 3:00 PM, the background maintenance starts on all platforms.
- At approximately 4:15 PM, the servers go offline. Players will be automatically kicked from the game.
- During the downtime, Bungie will roll out the Season 22 Update 7.2.0.5. It will be gradually released so that players on all platforms can download it.
- At 7:00 PM, everything should be back online and you can try logging in again.
- The maintenance will continue in the background until 9:00 PM.
Please also keep in mind that third-party applications and the official companion app may also not be correctly available for a while, so you might not be able to use them.
What changes with Update 7.2.0.5 in Season 22
This will be included in Update 7.2.0.5: For all those still waiting for their badge for the Crota Raid, Bungie has good news. They are working on getting Guardians who have completed the “Crota’s End” challenge mode in competitive mode to receive the “There can be only one” triumph and the associated badge. So it shouldn’t be long before you can show it off.
Furthermore, there are some known issues currently on the to-do list:
- The exotic equipment piece for Titans “Path of Burning Steps” and the associated ornaments no longer change their appearance when the wave perk for solar weapons is active.
- The cooldown of the exotic equipment pieces for Titans “Frost-Engram” and “Ice Avalanche Cloak” is incorrect.
- When item weapon details are displayed in players’ vaults, the icons for weapon perks no longer appear.
- The rank 71 seasonal bonus for “Weapon Scavenger” requires owning the season pass even if Guardians already possess the season pass.
- Some Guardians who have not fully completed the story missions of the Season of Depth cannot finish the current weekly story mission of the Season of the Witch until they have finished the story of the previous season. This shouldn’t be the case.
- Returning players who have not fully completed the introductory quest “A Guardian Rises” before the launch of Lightfall cannot accept the “Learning from the Light” quest.
- Several armor pieces can hinder aiming when using the targeting device with the exotic fusion rifle “Area of Effect”.
- Player name changes are not infinitely adjustable on bungie.net. Several “number-Guardians” and “Ada-1 personal USB drive” are still waiting for the option to change their player name again instead of receiving the message “You have no name changes available”.
