What you need to know today: This week, the Tuesday update in Destiny 2 has been postponed to Thursday. And as always, this downtime will bring changes in the game and may fix a few annoying bugs for the guardians.
- With the last update 7.2.0.2, Bungie has reactivated the heavily missed loadout feature for players. However, only in a limited way, until perhaps a full fix is released today.
- There are issues with the Exo “Gjallarhorn”, which had to be slightly altered in its functionality at the start of the Witch’s season.
- Furthermore, the Season Exotic “Firestorm” of the Titan is disabled in all activities.
This is just a part of what Bungie could have on the agenda today with the latest update 7.2.0.3. However, the work also means that you won’t be able to play for a while.
However, we will keep you updated and let you know when the servers are back online.
Maintenance on 07.09. – All times for server downtime

This is the exact schedule for the maintenance:
- At 15:00, the background maintenance will start on all platforms.
- At around 16:15, the servers will go offline. Players will be automatically kicked from the game.
- During the downtime, Bungie will launch the Season 22 update 7.2.0.3. It will be rolled out gradually, allowing players on all platforms to download it.
- At 19:00, everything should be back online, and you can play again.
- The maintenance will continue in the background until 21:00.
Also, please keep in mind that third-party applications as well as the official companion app may also not be accessible correctly for a while, so you won’t be able to use them.
What changes with update 7.2.0.3 in season 22
This could be included in update 7.2.0.3: Of course, there is also something to do for the help support of Destiny 2 in season 22. The players have already found some bugs, and Bungie has accordingly updated the list of currently known issues.
Here are the currently known issues in season 22:
- The Season Exotic “Firestorm” of the Titan is disabled in all activities. It is expected to be reactivated on September 19.
- Hidden maps from the Prophecy desk indicate that they grant Witch Engrams, but they do not grant rewards.
- Vanguard Ops, Crucible, and Gambit playlists grant legendary pinnacle engrams instead of focusable exotic engrams.
- The shader preview is not available when an equipment preview is displayed in the vendor focusing menu.
- The perk description for the exotic Warlock helmet “Astrocyte Verse” is inaccurate.
- The cooldowns for generating Tangles are inconsistent across various sources.
- The quest “Last Will and Testament” can no longer be completed successfully.
- “Discrepancy” and “Wendigo” cannot currently be focused at Zavala.
- The damage reduction of the Warlock Shatterdive aspect is not applied to explosive charges.
- The exotic fusion rifle “Area Effect” incorrectly applies blurring across the entire screen when the targeting device is used.
- The secondary energy ornament for the exotic Titan chest piece “Heilrüstung” is missing a detail piece on the back.
- The crafting version of “Tale of a Dying” does not display any owned or available ornaments when inspected.
- The badge “Bulbultarang” does not appear in collections and cannot be claimed.
- Swapping shaders or gestures during a locked loadout activity causes guardians to return to orbit with an error.
- The hunter chest piece “Photon Leather Jacket” is not available for “Armor Synthesis.”
- Some players may see a “Open Event Map” on the screen that may obstruct visibility.
- Some players report that the clan banner is not displayed for them even though they already belong to a clan. To workaround this issue, one can currently talk to Hawthorne and pick up the clan banner item.
- The shader option “Apply to All” in the appearance customization screen lists one’s shaders in random order.
- Several sparrows from season 22 have misaligned brake lights. Amanda Holliday is missing.
- The bayonet strike of Monte Carlo currently does not trigger “gamepad rumble.”
- Player name changes are not infinitely customizable via bungie.net. Several “Number Guardians” are still waiting for the option to change their gamer tag again instead of receiving the message “You have no name changes available.”
