Maintenance on August 23 – All times and server downtime
This time, players should expect a shorter downtime despite the “Season 18” release. Some fixes will be made, and new content will be implemented in the game.
These times are important today:
- At 6:00 PM German time, maintenance work will start in the background on all platforms.
- From 6:45 PM, the servers will go offline, and you will be automatically kicked from all activities.
- Around 7:00 PM, the servers are expected to come online again, and Update 6.2.0 will be rolled out for all platforms. However, you can log in to play again from then on.
- Officially, the maintenance work for Hotfix 6.2.0 will end at 8:00 PM.
It is important: Even if you have downloaded the update and are back in the game, there may be connection issues until the maintenance work ends around 8:00 PM. You might also have to deal with queues when logging in. Also, note that third-party applications as well as the official companion app may not be functioning correctly.
What changes with Update 6.2.0 in Season 18

- Several hand cannons no longer have sights.
- The Exotic Sparrow Hyperborean Dagger cannot be selected in the collections.
- And much more.
If you experience any problems in the game, it is recommended to report them directly through the official Bungie Help Forum to alert the developers as well.
