In Destiny 2, the first major update for Season 17 is coming. The servers will go offline today, July 19th, for Update 4.1.5 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and Google Stadia. MeinMMO will accompany the server downtime and inform you when you cannot play.
What you need to know today: Players of Destiny 2 will not be able to log in today due to extended downtime. However, we will accompany you through the server downtime, informing you how it progresses and what changes you can expect after the hotfix.

Maintenance on July 19 – All Times and Server Downtime
These times are important today: This time, the servers will be down for a significant period, as mentioned, due to the 2022 Solstice event that is set to begin after the update.

- At 3:00 PM German time, maintenance will start in the background on all platforms.
- From 3:45 PM, the servers will go offline and you will be automatically kicked from all activities.
- Around 7:00 PM, the servers are expected to come back online and Update 4.1.5 will be rolled out for all platforms. However, you can log in to play again starting then.
- The maintenance for hotfix 4.1.5 officially ends at 8:00 PM.
It is important: Even if you have downloaded the update and are back in the game, there may be connection issues until the maintenance ends around 8:00 PM. You may also have to deal with queues when logging in. Also, keep in mind that third-party applications and the official Companion app may not be accessible correctly.
What Changes with Update 4.1.5 in Season 17
This is what the hotfix brings today: After hotfix 4.1.5, Guardians can expect a new week. However, Bungie will likely fix some bugs and issues first and initiate the Solstice event.
MeinMMO lists some of the issues that Bungie will be addressing in this update:
- Tooltips disappear when you dismantle items at the Post.
- Defeating targets with the aspect “Mow them down” while they are “Radiant” grants no melee energy when using “Caliban’s Hand.”
- Console platforms have no setting for voice chat volume.
