What changes with Update 4.1.0 in the new Season 17
This is what today’s hotfix brings: Today’s update mainly introduces new seasonal content to Destiny 2. So don’t be surprised if you have a significantly lower power level after the Update 4.1.0, as the new power level of 1570 applies.
Season 17 also brings a lot of sandbox changes affecting both weapons and abilities. MeinMMO has already summarized all important details from the probably longest “This Week at Bungie” blog for you.
Additionally, there are still a few changes that are on Bungie’s to-do list for the launch of the new Season 17.
Here is a small preview of the patch notes:
- Players will soon receive 3 instead of just one Strange Coin when they open the reward chest in the “Trials of Eternity”.
- The damage of the Scorn Snipers will be adjusted to that of other fighter types, thus reduced. The projectile spread has also been increased to reduce the frequency of being hit.
- The hard cap in Season 17 is 1570, increasing by only 10 power levels.
- An optional character power boost is available, bringing players against silver to power level 1510.
- Sometimes erroneous information is displayed on the Bungie name change screen after players have changed your name on Bungie.net.
If you experience problems in the game, it is recommended to report them directly through the official Bungie help forum to notify the developers.
