For Destiny 2 today, on July 15, the hotfix 3.2.1.1 is released for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S as well as on PC and Google Stadia. We provide you with the important times and all the information regarding the maintenance work on the servers in the middle of the Solstice of Heroes Event 2021.
In Destiny 2, the big mid-season update for the Season of the Splicer was recently released. But today, on July 15, Bungie is giving the action MMO the next patch. For you, this means you will have to deal with maintenance work and a complete server downtime.
- Update 19:18: The hotfix 3.2.1.1 is now available for all platforms. On PlayStation 5, it is 267 MB.
- Update 19:10: Guardians are slowly becoming impatient, as the update 3.2.1.1. is apparently not live yet. However, keep in mind, the times given by Bungie are usually not set in stone – the download should start shortly as expected.

Maintenance on July 15 – Schedule and Server Downtime
The important times today:
- At 18:00 German time, the maintenance work will begin.
- At 18:45, the servers will go down – if you are still in the game, you will be kicked.
- Starting at 19:00, update 3.2.1.1 will be available on all platforms – the servers will come back online.
- You can play Destiny 2 directly after the download (and copying process).
- The maintenance work is scheduled to end completely at 20:00.
Please note: Until the maintenance ends, login issues and queues may occur. If the update isn’t live precisely at 19:00, that is completely normal. Additionally, during the maintenance period, third-party applications as well as the official Companion App may only be used in a limited capacity or not at all.
What changes does update 3.2.1.1 bring today in Destiny 2?
Currently, we know surprisingly little about the new patch. Normally, Bungie presents the changes in detail in a preview. However, it is speculated that some of the bugs in the ongoing “Solstice of Heroes” event will be fixed. The known bugs include:
- Renewed Solstice Armor is adorned with the “Season of the Splicer” symbol instead of the Solstice symbol.
- The weekly Solstice bounty “Light and Darkness” for Gambit only registers progress through elemental kills against Guardians.
- The UI of the event “Prismatic Obsession” may overlap with the UI of other objectives if multiple buffs are active for players.
- Prism spheres do not count towards the overall number of elemental spheres collected by players.
- The Solstice armor set glow from 2018 may be less intense in certain parts of the armor.
- Parts of the “Finesse of Light” ghost shell disappear when rotating the ghost shell in the inventory preview.
- There are reports that Solstice key fragments and Solstice packages have been removed from players’ inventories.
- Repeatable Solstice bounties do not display glimmer as a reward when viewed in Eva’s inventory. You still receive 10 glimmer per completion of one of these repeatable bounties.
Many Guardians also hope for a fix for the “new” weapons introduced just last week, which simply do not drop: Players are complaining in Destiny 2 about rehashed weapons: “They are weaker than before”
Well, the update doesn’t seem to offer a fix for the weapons from the Dreaming City. The patch notes are quite sparse. None of the aforementioned problems were addressed according to the listing – only a strike save spot, an exotic ornament, and a triumph were fixed.
