Today, December 17th, there is a new update for Destiny 2 – the hotfix 3.0.1.3. Therefore, maintenance work and a server downtime are scheduled on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, PC, and Google Stadia. MeinMMO has the important times and reveals what changes for you.
What to expect today: On December 17th, the next update for Destiny 2 is already on the way, after numerous changes were made to the game just 3 days ago . You will have to take another forced break today.
Update 6:14 PM: The hotfix is now available on all platforms. On PS4, it has version number 2.08 and is 154 MB in size.
As part of the update, the Destiny servers will undergo maintenance and will be unreachable for a while. Only once hotfix 3.0.1.3 is downloaded, can you cheerfully continue to bake and open gifts during the Christmas event “The Dawning 2020”.

Maintenance on December 17th – Everything about the process and server downtime
These are the important times today:
- Starting at 5:00 PM, maintenance is set to begin on all platforms.
- At 5:45 PM, the servers will go offline. If you are still in the game, you will be kicked.
- Around 6:00 PM, the servers will be back online and hotfix 3.0.1.3 will be available on all platforms.
- Only after downloading (and copying) the update can you play Destiny 2 again.
- Maintenance is scheduled to end at 7:00 PM.
Please also note: Until the maintenance work in the background is completely finished, there may be login problems and queues in Destiny 2. As always, third-party applications and even the official companion app may be partially unreachable.
What changes with Update 3.0.1.3 in Beyond Light?
What’s included in the hotfix: Not much is known yet about the changes. But we already know that the Warlock exotic Evening Vigil from Radius has been fixed and will therefore not be deactivated from today.
Additionally, it is planned that Trials of Osiris will take place for the first time in Season 12 this Friday, December 18th. However, there are still more problems since the start of the DLC and Next-Gen upgrades:
- Bungie warns that you should not store your valuable “Conqueror’s Loot” from the Deep Stone Crypt raid in the vault, as it may disappear.
- During the Dawning festivities of 2020, the event reset always occurs at 6:00 PM on Sundays – this does not affect the normal weekly reset.
- If you are one of the players experiencing frame rate or stuttering issues on consoles, you should go to settings and reset everything to default in “Video” (Bungie via Twitter)

Patch Notes for Hotfix 3.0.1.3 in Destiny 2
