This is happening today: Just this week, Destiny 2: Beyond Light started and brought hours of maintenance work with it. Today, Friday, November 13, maintenance work is again on the schedule. This prepares for the new hotfix 3.0.0.2.
Update 6:00 PM: The hotfix is available on all platforms. On the PS5, the update is version number 2.03 and is 150 MB in size.

Maintenance on 11/13 – All about the procedure and server downtime
Here are the important times: The server downtime today will not be as long as on Tuesday:
- At 4:00 PM German time, maintenance work will start in the background on all platforms
- At 4:45 PM, all players will be removed from activities and the servers will go offline
- At 6:00 PM, the servers will come back online. The update 3.0.0.2 will then roll out worldwide on all platforms
- As soon as the update has been downloaded (and copied), you can play Destiny 2 again and continue to wreak havoc in Europe
- By 7:00 PM, the maintenance work is expected to end as planned
Please note: Until the maintenance work is completed, there may be login issues and queues. Additionally, third-party applications and the official companion app may not function correctly.
What changes with update 3.0.0.2 in Destiny 2?
The exact changes or patch notes for hotfix 3.0.0.2 are not currently known. However, this week Bungie has already
- Had to deactivate the exotic grenade launcher Witherhoard
- Locked the legendary hand cannon Rose (as it was still a 150)
- And blocked a power leveling method in a Lost Sector.
This is what the patch notes say: The official patch notes are not very extensive.
- Server stability has been improved
- The hand cannon Rose is now correctly a 140 and can be equipped again
- Crashes on Xbox have been fixed
- The heirloom appearance is no longer available at the Exotic kiosk
- Emblems from the Collector’s Edition can now be found in the collection

Destiny cancels the Trials of Osiris
No Trials today? The first Trials of Osiris in Beyond Light were supposed to take place today at 6 PM. Bungie has now announced that the PvP mode is canceled today.
As a reason, a recently discovered issue is mentioned – unfortunately, Bungie does not specify further. Some players suspect that this is related to the fresh Stasis classes that have turned PvP into a nightmare. However, it is not certain if this is true.
Then it continues: According to Bungie, the Trials will continue again on Friday, November 27. Especially annoying, as the new master weapons were supposed to have their big appearance today.
