These times are important today: You will have to take a forced break from Destiny today. To continue playing, you will need the new update.
Here is the official schedule for today’s maintenance:
- At 18:00 CEST, the maintenance will start
- Some API features will also temporarily not be available
- At 18:45, the downtime begins. The Destiny 2 servers will go offline, and you will no longer be able to log in
- At 19:00, the server downtime ends, and the servers will come back online. Then the release of update 2.8.1.2 will also begin across all platforms and regions
- From 19:00, it will also be possible to log in to Destiny 2 again
- Maintenance is expected to end at 21:00
Important information: Until the maintenance is fully completed at 21:00, there may be queues and login issues.
What’s in hotfix 2.8.1.2 / 1.51 for Destiny 2?
In the TWaB from May 14, Bungie announced some of the changes included in the latest patch. Focused issues with exotic armor that led to a deactivation of the items. After the update, these issues are supposed to be resolved:
- Minor fireteam XP boosts from the season pass now function as intended.
- The “Touch of the Worm” gauntlets no longer grant infinite 5x “Burning Fists” when equipped and unequipped repeatedly.
- Removing the “Winter’s List” gauntlets now correctly removes all “Warlord’s Sigil” perks.
Players are also waiting for a fix for the recently appeared bug in the “The Lie” quest. Unfortunately, this will most likely not be included:
These issues are still known to Bungie and will be fixed in a future update:
- The ascendant champion triumph is not unlocking for some players.
- The mods “Enhanced Fusion Rifle Loader”, “Enhanced Auto Rifle Loader”, and “Enhanced Bow Loader” are not dropping as intended.
- The “Charged Fist” perk for the “Handheld” gauntlets is not functioning as intended.
