Destiny 2: These issues that annoy you should be fixed by Patch 1.2.1

Since the release of the Warmind expansion, Destiny 2 has been struggling with numerous bugs. A patch is expected to bring salvation next week.

On May 29, 2018, Update 1.2.1 for Destiny 2 will be released. In addition to introducing some new features, the upcoming patch is also expected to fix most of the existing bugs that have been making life tough for Guardians for weeks – despite an already released hotfix.

These issues are being addressed by Bungie with Update 1.2.1 for Destiny 2

If everything goes according to plan, almost all bugs should be gone after the update on May 29.

Here is an overview of the biggest problems that Update 1.2.1 is supposed to fix:

Some players lose Glory rank points when they leave the Crucible match too quickly after it ends
The clan XP milestone does not grant powerful rewards
The consumable “Favor of the Vanguard” sometimes blocks progress on strikespecific quest steps and milestones
The Screeb during the Public WarSat event on Mars sometimes closes too quickly, making it impossible for players to trigger the Heroic Public Event
The shield of Emperor Calus in the Leviathan raid can sometimes take too much damage after Destiny update 1.2.0 before it can be broken
Some Destiny 2 players on PC are struggling with long load times during Iron Banner matches

Item Equip function remains disabled for the time being

A major problem seems to be one that Bungie cannot fix by next Tuesday – the item equip exploit. As we have reported, some players were able to reach the new maximum power level of 385 within a short time using the equip function of apps and third-party sites.
