Today, on December 4, 2018, the update 1.30 / 2.1.1.1 for Destiny 2 has been released. The servers on PC, Xbox One, and PS4 are back online. This patch paves the way for the first premium DLC “The Black Armory”. Here you will find everything important about maintenance, server downtime, and the patch notes.
Tonight, the first of three premium DLCs for Destiny 2 – the Black Armory – will be released. Then, owners of the Annual Pass will gain access to the Black Armory facility and can start hunting for fresh loot.
But before that happens, a new update for Destiny 2 needs to be downloaded and installed. The update has version number 1.30 on the PS4 and is just under 1 GB in size.

These are the changes on 04.12. in Destiny 2

- The maximum power level for all owners of the Forsaken expansion increases to 650

What’s in the “Black Armory” DLC for Destiny 2
The Black Armory is one of a total of three premium DLCs that are available exclusively as a bundle as part of the paid Annual Pass. This content cannot be purchased individually.
The Black Armory does not bring a new campaign, but essentially focuses on additional endgame content.
All owners of the Annual Pass will receive the following starting from December 4:
- Access to the Black Chest and the corresponding equipment
- New cooperative activity for 3 players with matchmaking – “Forging the Chain.” This activity will reward Guardians with items that scale up to the new maximum power level after a certain point. The individual forges will launch staggered
- New raid “Scourge of the Past” starting December 7. This is a full-fledged raid and not a raid encounter
- 5 new exotic weapons, including a popular returning weapon from Destiny 1: the hand cannon “The Last Word”. The quest “The Temptation” for the Last Word will only be available on January 29, 2019
- New Triumphs and collections as well as a new title
- Additional bonus rewards
