Items and Economy
- Experience rewards for completing strikes and Nightfall strikes have been increased

- Iron Banner, Vanguard, and Crucible tokens earned in Season 3 can still be redeemed with their respective vendors in Season 4
- Mods or shaders can no longer be deleted from an item’s detail view
- Reward chances for masterworks are reduced in some activities
- Raids that predate Forsaken still offer a higher chance for masterworks drops, but this chance has been reduced from 50% to 10% to align with the masterwork drops of Forsaken
- Armor from Year 1 automatically generates a core when dismantled
- Weapons from Year 1 generate one or two cores when dismantled, but no longer three
- Activity rewards are now appropriately power-scaled to the player
- When an activity is completed that is far above the player’s level, they receive a higher power upgrade
- When an activity is completed that is far below the player’s level, they receive a lower power upgrade
- Forsaken shaders do not drop wildly but come from dismantled gear that has the respective shader
- Rare shaders are often applied to drops – however, the chance is low that they are granted upon dismantling
- Legendary shaders appear less frequently on gear – however, the chance is high that they are granted upon dismantling
- It costs nothing more to apply shaders to gear
- Infusion maximum for all gear before and from Forsaken is 600 power
- Infusing weapons is now slot-based rather than archetype-based
- Example: Any Kinetic weapon can be infused with another Kinetic weapon, but you can’t infuse an Energy Hand Cannon into a Kinetic Hand Cannon
- Infusing duplicates of the same item into each other is cheaper than infusing two different items
- Drop rates for destination materials have been reduced for some destination activities
- Here you can find weapons, armor pieces, ghost shells, ships, sparrows, emblems, or shaders that players have received since the Warmind release on May 8
- Except for Legendary armor from Year 2 and weapons with random rolls, all items can be obtained again through the collections for a fee
- This fee for regaining items is based on what the item can be dismantled into
- “Three of Coins” have been removed
- Converted into “Faded Engram”
- Can be easily dismantled for Legendary fragments
Eververse
- The Prisma Matrix is now time-scheduled for the entire season
- The Prisma Facet (free weekly roll per account) can now be obtained through a special Level 1 Eververse bounty instead of leveling up. This bounty costs 250 Glimmer, and an Eververse bounty token is not required
- This allows players at all levels to receive their free weekly roll
- Each seasonal Bright Engram now offers a bounty token
- These bounty tokens can be exchanged for a variety of weekly Eververse bounties, which are available in 3 tiers:
- Tier 1: Costs 1 Eververse bounty token Grants 20 Bright Dust
- Tier 2: Costs 3 Eververse bounty tokens Grants 70 Bright Dust
- Tier 3: Costs 6 Eververse bounty tokens Grants 150 Bright Dust
- These bounty tokens can be exchanged for a variety of weekly Eververse bounties, which are available in 3 tiers:
- Players can accept as many Eververse bounties as they have tokens
- Eververse bounties expire 7 days after acceptance
- To give players more control over their Bright Dust amounts, there is now a fixed Bright Dust amount obtained by dismantling Eververse items
- Example: Shaders always grant 10 Bright Dust
- Reward probabilities are now displayed on Bungie.net
- New Legendary weapon ornaments have been added to the Bright Engram
- A new ghost projection category has been added to the Bright Engram
- Weapon and armor mods are no longer obtainable from Bright Engrams
- In addition to random perks on armor, we have also changed how perks are applied to Eververse armor
- Eververse armor from non-deterministic sources (i.e., from Bright Engrams) has random perks
- Eververse armor received from sources like the Prisma Matrix or Bright Dust store has fixed perks
- Starting Forsaken, players will no longer receive Bright Engrams with each level achieved up to the maximum level
- Players progressing through the campaigns will receive an Eververse gift at the end of each campaign once per class with a variety of items and some Bright Engrams
- This also applies to players using the character boost
- Once players reach the maximum level, Bright Engrams will be granted as before
- Silver transaction history is now displayed on Bungie.net
