What’s new in Update 1.15 / 1.1.3 – What do the patch notes say?
The major changes in Update 1.1.3 have been known for days as they are listed in the Destiny 2 roadmap for Spring 2018. The full patch notes have now been released.
The most important changes from 1.1.3
The most important changes and bug fixes:
- Nightfall scoring and high-score tracking: During the Nightfall strike, the time limit is replaced by a strike scoring system. This applies to both the normal and prestige Nightfall. You gain points by defeating enemies and generating Orbs of Light.
- There will be a first version of prestige Nightfall challenge cards. With this, you can choose additional modifiers that affect gameplay and scoring. These cards drop for DLC owners in both the normal and prestige Nightfall. Only the fireteam leader needs to hold this card actively.
- Revision of the badges for locations, Crucible, and Nightfall. You can read more about the “new” badges and the auras here.
- Your team members will now be shown on the fireteam card.
- A public text chat will be available on PC.
- Projectiles from “The Colony” will now correctly track enemies when the frame rate on PC is set above 30 FPS.
- If you wear masterwork armor, the damage reduction while using a super ability will increase from 3% to 5% per armor piece.
- A bug with masterwork armor is fixed, where the ammo was reduced instead of increased.
- During a faction rally, the World Eater tract also grants faction tokens.
