In Destiny 2, Update 1.13 / 1.1.1.1 is now available for download and installation. Here are the patch notes for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Yesterday, on December 12th, the update 1.1.1.1 went live in the evening, which is version 1.13 on consoles. It is approximately 92 MB in size.
Shortly after the servers came back online, Bungie released the detailed patch notes. There are no major surprises, as most of the new features and fixes were already known in advance.
The 11 most important changes with update 1.13
The update is referred to as “the one after Curse of Osiris”. Here is a selection of the most important changes:
- Leviathan Raid: The Prestige mode is back at Power Level 300, so all Guardians have access to it. The normal difficulty has also been adjusted.
- Trials of the Nine: Players who do not own Curse of Osiris can still participate in the Trials if a FdO map is not in rotation. Read more about the endgame access requirements with and without Curse of Osiris here.
- HDR should now be available on PS4 consoles.
- Vendor waypoints will only be highlighted when players have enough tokens to receive a reward.
- Faction Rally: You can no longer loot the same chest repeatedly in quick succession to farm tokens

- Masterworks: Masterwork weapons are now in the game. They grant bonus weapon stats, generate orbs on multikills, and track kills.
- The drop rates for legendary and exotic engrams have been reduced for public events and increased for strike and crucible playlist activities.
- Xur now sells a Fate Engram and new Three of Coins.
- The Prometheus Lens has been nerfed.
- Zavala, Shaxx, and Everis now sell gift consumables, where all players receive rewards on completion of strikes or crucible matches.
- Vendors now offer legendary gear that you can purchase directly with legendary shards and tokens

Leviathan Raid
The Prestige version of the “Leviathan” raid has been adjusted back to 300 Power, making it available to all players – regardless of whether they own “Curse of Osiris” or not.
The adjusted Prestige difficulty rewards no longer guarantee 330 Power items.
Difficulty for the normal Calus encounter has been adjusted.
Trials of the Nine
Players who do not own “Curse of Osiris” can now access the Trials of the Nine when playing on a map that was part of Destiny 2’s release.
Trophies and achievements
The achievement “The Prestige” and its corresponding trophy have been adjusted so they no longer include the Nightfall component.
It can now be completed regardless of ownership of “Curse of Osiris” by successfully completing the “Leviathan” raid on Prestige difficulty.
General
Diverse
A bug was fixed that affected Power level progression from Level 289 to 300 for players who do not own “Curse of Osiris”.
A problem was fixed that caused a “Curse of Osiris” purchase menu to appear when players attempted to request the “Scout Report: Mercury” with insufficient glimmer.
A problem was fixed where the word “Nightfall” did not appear in the new “Curse of Osiris” strikes in the Nightfall navigator node.
Functionality of the reward throttling for chests has been adjusted.
Players now receive reduced loot when opening many chests in a short time instead of receiving nothing.
Chests from “Cayde’s stash” now offer rewards via the loot stream to prevent items from disappearing into the ground.
A bug was fixed where canons on Mercury did not function correctly for PC players when playing over 60 FPS.
A problem was fixed that prevented the functionality of HDR settings for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro.
Collections
A problem was fixed where players with over 84 badges could not see all badges in their collections view.
User Interface
When inspecting another player, the currency possession is no longer displayed.
Vendor waypoints are only highlighted when players have enough tokens to receive a reward.
A problem was fixed that prevented some players from interacting with items when their inventory was full.
Group Fight
Players can no longer quickly open the same chest in succession when it comes to group fight tokens.
A bug was fixed that prevented group fight tokens from being removed at the end of the event for some players.
Group fight badges now display the correct Oath Tracker stats.
A bug was fixed that removed group fight tokens from the inventory when creating a new character.
A bug was fixed where some players did not receive the group fight winner discount.
Masterworks
Legendary weapons can now drop as Masterworks for characters above Power level 250.
Masterworks grant bonus weapon stats and generate orbs on multi-kills.
Engrams
The drop rates for Legendary and Exotic engrams have been reduced for public events and increased for strike and crucible playlist activities.
The chance of multiple Legendary items from Legendary engrams has been reduced.
Xûr
Xûr now sells “Three of Coins”, an item that increases the chance for Exotics.
Xûr now sells the Fate Engram.
Exotic
A bug was fixed where Evening Star of Radius, Helm of the 14th Saint, Graviton Penitence, and Twin Fools dropped with the wrong class mods.
The Exotic fusion rifle “Prometheus Lens” caused damage much higher than intended.
A bug was fixed that incorrectly labeled Exotic weapons from Curse of Osiris in Exotic engrams.
Gift Consumables
Zavala now sells a gift consumable for fireteams, where the player’s fireteam receives rewards upon strike completion.
Shaxx now sells a gift consumable for fireteams, where all players receive rewards upon crucible completion.
Tess Everis now sells gift consumables, where all players receive rewards upon completion of crucible or strike.
Group Vendors
Group vendors now offer Legendary gear for direct purchase with Legendary shards and group tokens.
Crucible
Invisible barriers have been added so players can no longer hide in the Red Bay Box on the Pacifica map.
The locations for power ammo on the Eternity map have been adjusted.
