In Destiny 2, update 1.09 / 1.0.6 is available for download and installation. Here are the patch notes for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Today, on November 2nd, Bungie deployed two updates:
- Update 1.0.6 is now live on all platforms (PS4, Xbox One, and PC), which has the version number 1.09 on consoles. It is approximately 56 MB in size.
- The second update is PC-specific: The hotfix 1.0.6.1.

Patch Notes Update 1.09 – What Changes
Here are the changes in English:
- A problem with the Bureaucratic Walk is fixed. This is an emote that allowed players to walk through walls. It is responsible for the Trials of the Nine being canceled in recent weeks. The Trials of the Nine will take place again on November 3rd.
- There will be an adjustment so you find more other guardians in public spaces. Until now, players were too often alone there.
- A problem will be fixed where players were kicked to orbit.
Changes to the Faction Rally
- Strikes will now grant more faction tokens – between 5 and 9 (previously between 3 and 7)
- The Nightfall Strike now grants 10 to 18 faction tokens per character on first completion
- Public heroic events now grant only 5 faction tokens (instead of 8)
- By destroying enemy resources, players will no longer receive faction tokens. By opening lost sector chests, players will receive 3 faction tokens for each fireteam member.
Crucible
- The mercy rule settings have been updated so that the mercy rule activates slightly later in the match, allowing it to trigger from a wider range of scores.
Conflict
- Score limit has been reduced to 50 (was 75)
Control
- Score limit has been reduced to 90 (was 100)
- Impact of enemy-controlled zones on the spawn system has been reduced
Survival
- Round time limit has been reduced to 2 minutes (previously 3 minutes)
- Lives have been reduced to 6 (previously 8)
Supremacy
- Winning points increased to 70 (from 50)
- There is now a point when defeating an enemy guardian
- The impact that enemy signals have on the spawn system has been reduced
Additionally, adjustments to the companion app: Performance will be improved, and when searching for clans, suggested clans will be shown.

These patch notes for the PC-specific patch are more concise:
- A problem is being fixed where the Clan Overview was not displayed properly.
- A problem is being fixed where there could be performance drops.
