In Destiny 2 this Guardian once again amazes: Esoterickk solo-masters the first phase of the Argos boss fight!
Raids have always been a significant challenge for many Guardians in Destiny. The second part of the series is no exception. Until facing the Cabal Emperor Calus or mastering the individual phases of the fight against the massive Vex boss Argos, raid teams usually need flawless performance from all six Guardians.
The YouTuber and hardcore Destiny player Esoterickk has now managed to survive the first phase of the boss fight in the Spire of Stars raid encounter and thus crack Argos’s protective mine shield – mind you, solo!

This phase of the boss fight is a challenge that even well-coordinated teams often struggle with, as soon as even a small cog in the team doesn’t work properly. Esoterickk shows that it is possible to do this alone. He only took about 6 minutes for this impressive feat.
He’s done it again
Esoterickk has already been the focus of our coverage multiple times due to his fantastic skills.
- Some time ago, he managed to master the Nightfall strike solo.
- Shortly after that, he even defeated the Prestige mode of the Nightfall alone.
- Even in the Castellum – the entrance of the Leviathan raid – he demonstrated his exceptional talent and completed this raid section entirely by himself.
Now he has taken on the Spire of Stars raid encounter.
With perfectly timed jumps and almost surgical precision, Esoterickk repeatedly manages to dodge what seemed like certain death during the first boss phase, destroying one mine after another until none are left and the massive Vex machine Argos finally comes into view.
Here you can admire his latest achievement:
The following Guardian loadout was used:
- Sentinel Titan with Voidwall Grenade, Barricade, Guided Steps, and the upper skill tree
- Kinetic Weapon: MIDA Multi-Tool (Scout Rifle)
- Energy Weapon: MIDA Mini-Tool (SMG)
- Power Weapon: Clap, Clap – Rocket Launcher
- Exotic Leg Armor: Dunemarchers
- Power Level 335, Mobility 2, Resilience 4, Recovery 8
What do you think of Esoterickk’s performance? Have you ever accomplished something similar?
