In Destiny 2, you can now secure a lot of content from the major expansions and the Season Pass completely legally for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. You just have to try Google Stadia for free.
What trick is this all about? Destiny 2: New Light invites all interested Guardians completely for free to play and offers countless hours of content. However, some of the coolest content is actually hidden behind big DLCs or the current Season Pass, for which you would normally have to spend some euros – but not necessarily anymore.
With the help of Google Stadia, everyone can legally and for free secure the normally paid content. The best part is: Thanks to Cross Save, you can even use the premium content on your primary system afterward.
You may for example unlock the currently powerful Exotic Xenophage through Stadia and then continue using it on PC or both consoles to really clean up.

Season Pass and Exotics – These contents you can get for free
On reddit, user Kir-ius has published a list of the contents you can unlock through the trick on Google Stadia and then use freely on the other systems. Included are not only Exotics but also Raids, the new subclasses, and Season Pass content.

- Upgrade materials
- Glimmer
- Exotic Engrams

Additionally, you have the chance for exotic armors and other weapons from the DLCs through Engrams, World Drops, or Xur.
The 9 new Supers are waiting for you: Since you are allowed to play the two campaigns of Forsaken and Shadowkeep unrestricted thanks to Stadia, you will also automatically unlock the additional subclasses, including new Supers, permanently.

This is how you get the content for free: Thanks to Cross Save, you can use a profile on all systems in Destiny 2.
No matter what you do or loot, the progress is shared across all linked platforms. Even if you collect content that is actually behind a paywall (like a DLC Exotic), you can still use those items on all other systems.

How do you start the Exotic quests? You just need to go to the corresponding NPCs at Stadia and accept the quests for the Exotic weapons. For most tasks, it is completely sufficient if you accept the quest on Stadia; then you can also continue the tasks on your other linked systems and claim the rewards.
Some of the Exotic quests require, according to Kir-ius, that you play on Stadia for the final mission step. This applies when the step takes place in a DLC area. For example, The Pit of Heresy for Xenophage. In the case of Leviathan’s Breath and Bastion, you probably need to have played Destiny 2 during the respective seasons.
To access the premium content from the Season Pass, you just need to open the corresponding tab on Stadia once, and then all levels up to your currently reached rank are automatically unlocked.
