On May 29, 2018, Update 1.2.1 for Destiny 2 is released. The patch introduces new features to the game. In addition, it is supposed to eliminate numerous annoying bugs that have plagued players for weeks. We have summarized all the important information for you.

Today, on May 29, 2018, Update 1.2.1 is coming out. Among other things, three new features for Destiny 2 are included.
These new features await you on May 29.
The Crucible Labs: With these Crucible Labs, players will gain access to experimental PvP content for the first time. This gives Bungie the opportunity to use Guardian feedback as a basis for further decisions in the Crucible. More information was promised before the launch of this feature, but so far Bungie has not provided any further details.
Improvements to the group fights: After a long break, the faction rally is returning. Although nothing is known about the upcoming changes yet, hints of possible exotic rewards and catalysts for exotic weapons tied to the individual factions have already been discovered in the Destiny 2 databases. However, the new group fights will not start right away on May 29. The start date and further information are expected to follow soon.

Sandbox changes to exotic armors: The sandbox changes to the exotic weapons introduced with the Warmind DLC were well received by fans. With Update 1.2.1, the first wave of revised armor exotics is coming. Initially, six updated armor pieces will be introduced – two per class. Further updated exotic armor pieces are expected to follow in July.

These issues will be resolved
Here is an overview of the biggest issues that are to be resolved with Update 1.2.1:

- The Clan XP milestone does not grant powerful rewards
- The consumable “Fate of the Vanguard” sometimes blocks progress on strike-specific quest steps and milestones
- The Howler during the Public Event on Mars sometimes closes too quickly, making it impossible for players to trigger the Heroic Public Event
- Emperor Calus’s shield in the Leviathan raid can sometimes take too much damage after Destiny Update 1.2.0 before it can be broken
- Some Destiny 2 players on PC are struggling with long loading times in Iron Banner matches
A complete list of the fixed bugs will be available in the patch notes for Update 1.2.1 later today.
