This is the message: A player met her husband in Destiny 2. After countless Dawnings and raids, a friendship turned into a relationship. Now a child is expected and the proud Guardian personally asked the Titan boss on Twitter if he could give her husband a briefing on babies.
Get ready Guardian fathers, for you have an important quest ahead
Lance Reddick, the voice actor of Zavala, has spoken out and sends a clear yet strong message in a video to all Guardians out there who are about to become fathers. You will be introduced to an important quest.
This is the quest: Zavala informs you that you must stock up on sleep before you embark on the quest of fatherhood. It may be that in the early days when the baby is with you, there won’t be any sleep. Babies require a lot of time and energy. Every well-rested hour of sleep will be necessary to successfully complete this quest.
Has Zavala spoken out for the first time? This was not the first time that Lance Reddick has spoken out. When Season 13 was freshly released, there was a scene in which Zavala stood before Kabal Princess Caitl and she made him a special offer:
There it was said that Guardians should bow before her and join her empire. Zavala, as unyielding as we know him, resisted this with a simple “No”.
The Guardians were not satisfied with that; they wanted to see Zavala in a rage and hoped that Zavala had more to say about these circumstances.
Therefore, Lance Reddick complied with the request and delivered the message just as Zavala should have reacted. This was very well received in the community, and players were pleased that Zavala himself had spoken out.
