In Destiny 2, the Season of the Forge started on November 27th. As part of Season 5, the Eververse also receives a lot of cool new items that Guardians can earn or purchase. We summarize the highlights of the Season 5 items in the in-game shop for you.
In Season 5, fans have a plethora of new items to decorate their Guardians and give them a personal touch. From new weapon and armor ornaments to new ghost shells and new class sets, there is a lot to explore. We have picked out the coolest items for you and present them here.
The Weapon Ornaments in Season 5
The Season of the Forge brought numerous new ornaments for a whole variety of weapons. In total, fans can look forward to 18 new skins for their exotic and legendary firearms. Here are the highlights:

Calus’ Promise: This is a new ornament for the Scout Rifle Skyburner’s Oath in a simple design.
Desert Camouflage: The Desert Camouflage brings a new paint job for the Scout Rifle MIDA Multi-Tool.

IKELOS Field Adjustment: This is a new ornament for the Scout Rifle Polaris Lance. The ornament significantly alters the appearance of the weapon and gives it the characteristic look of the rest of the IKELOS arsenal from the Escalation Protocol.


SUROS Chrome: This skin gives the auto rifle SUROS Regime a chrome finish.

A Terrible Scream: This ornament changes the look of the fusion rifle One Thousand Voices from the Forsaken Raid Last Wish. This is how the weapon comes in the Fallen style.

Cuddle Explosion: With this skin, the bright rocket launcher Double-tailed Fox gets a slightly more subtle paint job.

Confused Paladin: The exotic sword Black Spindle receives a cool steel look with this ornament.

Honor Salute for the Colonel: This ornament honors the chicken Colonel, the pet of the deceased Cayde-6. Instead of the titular chicken symbol, a chicken now decorates the personal hand cannon of the former Hunter Vanguard leader.

Kingmaker: With this ornament, the linear fusion rifle Queenbreaker exchanges its typical Fallen look for a chunkier design in the style of mockery.

Haetae’s Judgment: This is a new skin for the pulse rifle Prometheus Lens.

Tlāloc’s Wrath: This special ornament gives the first heavy machine gun in Destiny 2, the Thunderlord, a new paint job. This ornament can only be purchased with real money (10€).

Hyper Speed: With Hyper Speed, the appearance of the Thunderlord is completely transformed. This ornament is also only available for real money (10€).
The Armor Ornaments of Season 5
In Season 5, each Guardian class received two ornaments for selected exotic armor pieces.

Improved Wish: This ornament changes the appearance and paint of the exotic gauntlets Ahamkara’s Spine.
Rigel Crossing: This gives the Hunter helmet Graviton Lance a new look.


Glorious Homage: With the Glorious Homage, the appearance of the Titan gauntlets Doomfang Pauldrons is altered. They now appear a bit more worn.

Risk of the Thanatonaut: This ornament gives the Mask of the Quiet One, an exotic Titan helmet, significant battle scars. The helmet now looks quite battered.

Eyes of Mercury: With this ornament, you can give the Solar Armlets of the Warlocks a look in the style of Osiris.

Matter Flickering: This allows Warlocks to change the appearance of their exotic Lunafaction Boots .
The New Class Sets of Season 5



In addition to new armor ornaments, all three Guardian classes receive new armor sets.

The Coolest Ghost Shells of Season 5
Anyone who values the appearance of their ghost will find a lot to enjoy in the new season. There are a total of 19 new ghost shells – 15 legendary and 4 exotic.

Rust Punk Shell: As the name suggests, your ghost gets a rusty, worn home.

Neon Helix Shell: If you like a neon look, then this shell is just right for you.

Futur I Shell: This shell somewhat resembles the SIVA ghost from Destiny 1.

Sanctuary Armor Shell: This shell is evidently inspired by the architecture of the Dreaming City.
The Most Striking Sparrows of Season 5
Bungie also came up with some special designs for Sparrows in Season 5. There are 17 new mounts, three of which are exotic, 14 legendary.

Near Infinity: This is a particularly futuristic Sparrow model. There has never been a comparable design before.

Burnout: If you want to cruise through the world of Destiny 2 in the style of Ghost Rider, then this sled is just right for you.

The Bronco: If you appreciate the particularly noble look of Tex Mechanica weapons, you will surely also like this elegant Sparrow.
The Highlights of the Ships from Season 5
Ship lovers get 17 new aircrafts as part of Season 5. 14 are legendary, three are exotic.

Unsecured/Uproar: This ship in the Warfare-look appeared in the game files some time ago. But only now do players have the opportunity to earn this spaceship.

ADA-1’s Lone Wolf: This ship is apparently dedicated to ADA-1, the new merchant from the first premium DLC Black Armory.

Ódrerir: As the name suggests, the special design of this exotic ship is inspired by Norse mythology.
The Best Emotes of Season 5
With the start of Season 5, 15 new emotes were also introduced to the game – 4 exotic, 6 legendary, and 5 rare.

Pyrrhic Victory: This animation lets your Guardian ignite signal flares.


We Need to Talk: This allows you to have a real stare-down.
All is Well: Even if the table is already on fire – all is well.

S’Mores: With this gesture, you can have your character eat a marshmallow.
