It doesn’t always have to be legendary or exotic! In PvP of Destiny 2, you can also succeed with blue weapons. These 5 are particularly strong.
You see them everywhere in the Crucible: The MIDA Multi-Tool, Uriel’s Gift, the Accuser or the Origin Story. These are the top weapons that dominate in the first weeks and months in PvP. Especially the auto rifles have a good standing.
It’s not particularly surprising: All these top weapons belong to the quality tier “Legendary” (purple), with the MIDA Multi-Tool and the Wings of Vigilance also being two exotics holding top spots. Weapons of lower quality tiers are not represented.
However, blue guns can also be excellent in PvP, as Venero TV shows. He presents 5 blue weapons that can compete with legendary firearms – and in some cases even outperform them:

The special perks:
Faster Draw: This weapon can be drawn faster
High Caliber Rounds: Increased range, shots stagger targets.
According to Venero TV, this weapon is definitely fun, and it is competitive in PvP. Both perks are useful in the Crucible.

The energy scout rifle Madrugada SR2 comes from Omolon. It has the same impact and fire rate as the MIDA Multi-Tool and excellent handling.
The perks:

The special thing about this submachine gun: It is completely identical to the legendary submachine gun “Antiope-D”. The stats and perks are the same, and the feel of the gameplay is equal. If you don’t have an Antiope-D, you might as well go for the Sondok-C. This is said to be obtainable in the adventure “Exodus Siege” on Nessus.
Sandwasp-3AU – Auto Rifle
Finally, an auto rifle called Sandwasp-3AU, that competes in the energy slot with overpowered weapons like Uriel’s Gift or the Accuser. According to Venero TV, this weapon can definitely hold its own; it’s his favorite to play with.
The perks:
Dynamic Sway Reduction: While the trigger is held, precision is increased over time.
High Caliber Rounds: Increases range, staggers targets.
Compared to Uriel’s Gift, the Sandwasp has a significantly higher fire rate, but lower impact. Uriel’s Gift holds advantages in range, while the other stats are better or equally good on Sandwasp.
