We Guardians are not the only ones who will benefit from the nasty ice power “Stasis” in Destiny 2. Enemy races are also expected to be able to use the new element. But which ones?

This is the official statement on Stasis: Stasis, a new element introduced in the upcoming major Fall Expansion Beyond Light, is set to expand our Guardians’ ability palette.
But it’s not just us who will benefit. Enemy races are also expected to be able to use the new nasty ice power, says Franchise Director Luke Smith in an interview. One enemy faction is already known, but Bungie is tight-lipped about the others. However, the Destiny community will not be easily dismissed.
Fan believes to have found a clue about the enemy races: Reddit user I3igB recently shared an interesting and quite plausible theory in the Raid-Secrets Subreddit. He is sure that he has found a clear hint regarding which other enemy races will receive Stasis.
This is what the theory says in detail: That the Guardians will use the new element is already known. Also known is that the Fallen on the ice moon Europa can use the Stasis powers. After all, we will learn from them how to control the new ice power. This gives us 2 groups already confirmed. But who are the others?
Here, I3igB supports his theory with data-mining findings as well as an area in the game that is not regularly accessible. The YouTuber JB3, who has made a name for himself in the community with his discoveries of inaccessible areas, discovered a special area a while ago – specifically in the interference on Io. He himself calls it “The Stone Crypt”.
In the room surrounded by tall columns stands a pyramid ship (made of stone), representing the Darkness, exactly in the middle. Around the pyramid ship are 4 different factions from the Destiny universe, represented by various stone statues.

- and the Hive
They all look up at the floating pyramid in the center of the room. At times, it looks as if they are breaking through from the ground or from the ice (like with Stasis).

I3igB is confident that these 4 factions represented in the room are also the ones that will receive the Stasis powers during Year 4. He believes there is also a yet unreleased voice line from the Destiny 2 data supporting this.
Many believe that these lines will be spoken by the Darkness in exactly this room at the end of the Season 11, and our character, as a representative of the Guardians, will be made aware of the new element here. It is said, among other things: “… An ancient power awaits you on Europa.”.

The room, which revolves around the Darkness and the 4 races, combined with the voice line that speaks of the new power on Europa, I3igB sees as a clear hint about who will be equipped with the new Stasis abilities during Year 4. He assumes that these races will be equipped with Stasis incrementally through new seasons.
What is Stasis all about? Stasis is a new, icy element – just like Arc, Solar, or Void – and will be introduced with the new expansion Beyond Light. There will be its own supers and abilities for each Guardian class.
However, Stasis is not the Darkness itself. The Darkness is merely a tool to control and utilize Stasis (and perhaps later other elements). Therefore, Stasis draws its power from the Darkness. However, when using the new ice power, we will not succumb to the Darkness. We will not become evil or corrupted ourselves.
