After almost a year without victory, the Future War Cult has won a faction rally for the first time since the launch of Destiny 2.

The first faction rally started shortly after the launch of Destiny 2 in September 2017. Since then, there have been numerous group fights in which many Guardians pledged their loyalty to the three factions “Dead Orbit”, “New Monarchy”, and the “Future War Cult”. However, it has never been enough for one faction to win.
Future War Cult – First victory after almost a year
The Future War Cult couldn’t win a single rally for almost a whole year. Until now – thanks to the active support of the Destiny subreddit and the new loot distribution.
Despite a dry spell – fans know how to help: In recent weeks, more and more supporters of the Future War Cult have gathered on the subreddit to plan the first victory of the FWC.
The community regularly gathered for a fun round, cracked jokes, and posted all sorts of funny nonsense about the cult. A prominent FWC supporter and app developer even jokingly threatened to withdraw the popular item manager app Ishtar Commander if the Future War Cult didn’t finally win and he could get the victory weapon accordingly.

Now it’s time to celebrate: Now that the cult has been declared the winner for the first time, the supporters on the subreddit are gathering again to properly celebrate this event.
Faction rewards are crucial: However, not only the subreddit – also the revised faction rewards of the group fights have significantly contributed to the first victory of the cultists.
Currently, three exotic masterwork catalysts are tied to the individual factions – including the popular weapons Graviton Lance and Sunshot.
After a large part of the Guardians were able to secure the coveted catalyst for the Graviton Lance during the first faction rally of Season 3, many fans have now opted for the cult and the catalyst for the Sunshot. This has brought the cult a whole crowd of new followers, who have now finally helped it to its first victory.
First KdZ victory weapon: But anyway, the cult is finally celebrating after a long dry spell. As the victory weapon, there is the legendary hand cannon “The Vision” (energy weapon). Followers of the Future War Cult pay 1,000 Glimmer, while all other Guardians have to spend 50,000 Glimmer for the weapon.
By the way: During the victory week, faction ornaments can still be unlocked, except for the helm and chest armor, if you have already reached the necessary rank with the respective faction.
How does it look? Did you support the cult this time and helped it achieve its first victory in the history of group fights? Are you a convinced FWC supporter or were you just hot for the catalyst?
