Everyone is waiting for Destiny 2 to come out with Beyond Light. But even now, players are solving puzzles from the expansion and discovering exciting lore information.
Where do the secrets come from? There are still about 2 weeks separating the Guardians from the highly anticipated expansion “Beyond Light“. However, in recent days, reports have been piling up that the Collector’s Edition has already been shipped out to players.
The new location Europa can only be visited by owners of this version of Beyond Light on November 10. However, the CE includes numerous physical collectibles. The notebooks, artworks, and flashing pyramids have already been closely examined by the Guardians.
Players have already been able to unveil many secrets of the DLC. They have also found mysterious puzzles and codes that will likely cause some headaches for a while.
A logbook has proven to be a true treasure trove. In it, we read about the danger potential of Europa. MeinMMO summarizes some of the exciting information for you.
Secrets from Beyond Light have been revealed
Here’s what we learn:
- Fortunately, there are no signs of Ahamkara activities here.
- Ghaul was able to suppress the Traveler’s light with technology from Oryx’s ship (Dreadnaught).
- The mysterious Nine (IX) have a special interest in Europa and the “Dark Matter”. This is where Xur allegedly received his physical form, with which he delights us every weekend.
- Our favorite Fallen Mithrax also speaks up. He assesses the location as very dangerous. Moreover, it is said that “there’s nothing to steal here.” But we already know that his and our Fallen enemy Eramis is using valuable technology here.
- The Exo race is said to actually see Europa and the Deep Stone Crypt in their dreams. Guardians have speculated about this since Destiny 1.
- Similarly to Titan, there are supposed to be secret life forms beneath the surface – will we see “Nessie” again?

Additionally, some codes from the Collector’s Edition have been decoded, with which you can already secure free cosmetics from Beyond Light.
What does an old friend say? The Collector’s Edition also includes a letter written to us by the Exo-Stranger. Exciting information is hidden here as well:
- The Exo-Stranger is – as long suspected – the sister of Ana Bray.
- The stranger, formerly known as Elsie Bray, writes that her famous grandfather Clovis Bray traveled to Europa. The scientist wanted to become immortal on Europa.
- Some leaks, by the way, suggest that we will face Clovis Bray as a boss in the new raid.
This mystery remains unsolved: The notes contain other codes and puzzles hidden away. Especially interesting is a puzzle that leads to Bungie’s official website.
Visitors are invited to enter a code themselves:
The solution is likely the word “CHOOSE”. Apparently, the puzzle can only be solved on November 5. Here you can try your luck:
According to users from the Raidsecrets subreddit, this code only works for registered owners of the Collector’s Edition.
What do you think about the puzzles and lore information from the Collector’s Edition? Are you also a collector of such items, do you like to display things from your favorite games or is the game itself enough for you?
