In Destiny 2, you can let off some steam again in the Iron Banner. This is your last chance to grab the seasonal armor quests and top Iron Banner rewards.
When does the last Iron Banner of the season start? Right on reset on February 18, Lord Saladin will open the last Iron Banner for now. You can enjoy the PvP activity for exactly one week before it ends on February 25.
All week long, you can look forward to double valor points. On weekends, you usually earn three times the amount of rank experience.
The Iron Banner seamlessly connects to the Crimson Week. If the romantic PvP activities for couples were too intimate, you can compete for God Rolls, armor, and triumphs in Control mode (6 vs. 6).
Last Chance for Quests and Triumphs

However, the current Iron Banner sets also cause frustration among veterans. Since the design has been used in the past.
Nonetheless, the armors are worth it – and not just for the looks. The Iron Banner gear can drop with very strong and high stats. Starting from the upcoming season, you will also benefit from the changes to Armor 2.0.
Don’t miss out on these triumphs: Each season brings fresh triumphs. If you want to complete these, you should hurry up. The achievements will disappear and will be replaced by new ones in the next season.
This week, an update conveniently adjusted some triumphs. So it said in the patch notes of Hotfix 2.7.1:
- Triumph added that counts the earned Iron Banner packages starting from Season 9. This counts all packages that have already been earned in this season retroactively.
- A problem was fixed where the triumph “Efrideet’s Gift” could not be completed if players earned 50 Iron Banner packages in Season 9. This applies retroactively.
Outlook for the Iron Banner in Season 10: Which armor sets or quests await the Guardians in the upcoming season is currently known only to Bungie. However, we already know about a new Iron Banner weapon.
As Bungie already announced in December, in Season 10, a combat bow will be available through the Iron Banner. “Point of the Stag” is thus the first bow in the design of the Iron Lords.
The weapon is currently already viewable in databases like Light.gg for interested parties. However, note that the stats and perks may change.
