In the Season of the Worthy, Destiny 2 offers a new Season Pass. We take a look at the rewards and tell you what you need to know.
What the Season model is about: In Destiny 2, you currently receive new content through the so-called Seasons. These last three months and continue the story, bringing new activities, quests, and thematic loot.
With each new season, all Destiny players also receive a Season Pass. This contains various rewards. To access the rewards, you only need to play Destiny 2.
The Season Pass levels up by gaining experience from all activities and loot pursuits. This way, you unlock the 100 seasonal ranks one after the other, and can look forward to powerful weapons, stylish cosmetics, and useful resources.
The best rewards and prizes in Season 10
This is how seasonal rank rewards work: Every Guardian has access to the rewards from the rank rewards. But among the 100 ranks, Destiny 2 distinguishes between two paths:
- The free path: This is available to everyone for free and does not require any content or expansions. You can find it in the upper half of the seasonal rank rewards.
- The premium path: Owners of the Season Pass have access to the rewards in the lower half of the rank rewards in addition to the upper row.
In both paths, you receive resources, engrams, and rare materials. In addition to these useful items, there are also real highlights among the rank rewards that will make every Guardian’s heart race.
These are the best rank rewards: We have selected some of the most interesting and best items from the 100 ranks. We present both the free and the premium paths.
These cool prizes can be unlocked by all Guardians:
- The new exotic auto rifle “Tommy’s Matchbook” – The stylish weapon is available to Season Pass holders immediately at rank 1 and for everyone in the free reward track at rank 35. This weapon follows in the footsteps of the powerful Exotic Symmetry from Season 9.
- Two new legendary weapons – At rank 30, there is an SMG, and at rank 45, a shotgun awaits every player.
- Seasonal armor sets – Legendary armors await unlock for each Guardian class. At reward level 25, all Destiny players have the complete set. With the Season Pass, you get the set at rank 1. Across all ranks, additional duplicates of the armors are distributed.
- Exotic engrams – These will enhance your arsenal of exotic weapons and armors.
With the Season Pass, these additional highlights await:
- Universal armor ornaments – With the ornaments, you can change the appearance of all legendary armors to match the seasonal theme. All ornaments are unlocked at rank 97.
- Ornaments for Season weapons – For all three weapons from the Season Pass, you will receive stylish skins as rank rewards.
- Legendary finisher – As early as rank 10, you deliver a new mercy to your enemies.
- Exotic gesture – Rank 99 gives you access to an impressive emote.
- Boosters – Spread throughout the Season Pass, you will receive bonuses on experience, catalyst progress, and drops.
You can view the complete seasonal rank rewards on the Bungie page. On June 9th, the Season of the Worthy will end, and the Season Pass, with all ranks and rewards, will disappear.
This is what the Season Pass offers in the Season of the Worthy
This is how you get the new Season Pass: To access all the seasonal rank rewards from Season 10, the Season Pass is required. This can be purchased in-game for 1,000 Silver. This is roughly equivalent to €10.
All owners of the Collector’s Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition of Shadowkeep already have full access to all Seasons of Year 3. If you decide to purchase the Shadowkeep expansion during the Season of the Worthy, you will receive full access to the current Season Pass.
If you play on multiple platforms via Cross-Save, you have access to your Season Pass. Bungie states that this can be shared between accounts.
New activities and quests: You will receive rewards and prizes through the rank advancements with the Season Pass. But also off the ranks, some special features await the Guardians.
Among other things, you will gain access to:
- Exotic quests
- Legendary Lost Sectors
- Weekly challenges
- New Triumphs, loot pursuits, and seasonal lore books
