Doom Fang Pauldron
The term “Doom Fang Pauldron” hides exotic gauntlets that come with this exotic perk:
- Shield explosion melee kills charge the shield throw. Melee ability kills charge the Sentinel Shield super.
To get the most out of the exotic armor, we recommend:
- Focus – Sentinel Titan
- Build – The Code of the Attacker
- Exotic Weapon – Any
Here, you should also play the Code of the Attacker as the exotic perk of the Pauldrons is tailored to the corresponding melee ability Shield Explosion. Overall, however, you will perform better as a Sentinel Titan with the Mask of the Quiet One, as it benefits all abilities and additionally triggers health regeneration.
Again, play with the exotic weapon that you enjoy the most.
ACD/0 Feedback Fence
The gauntlets with the cumbersome name ACD/0 Feedback Fence are back in Destiny 2. The following exotic perk is offered by the Feedback Fence:
- Melee kills build explosive damage. If you are struck by a melee attack, an explosion is released
Here’s what you can do best with the shoulders:
- Focus – Sentinel Titan
- Build – The Code of the Protector
- Exotic Weapon – Any
As you regenerate health for every melee kill and can also provide the Ward of Dawn, these gauntlets look great on paper.
In practice, however, the Feedback Fence disappoints. The explosion after a successful melee doesn’t deal nearly enough damage to justify its use.
The choice of weapons is not crucial here.
Synthocepts
The Synthocepts are also located in the shoulder slot and showcase their strength in the Titan’s melee combat. The Exotic perk states:
- Increased melee range. Increases your damage when surrounded
With the following build, you can go all-out with Synthocepts:
- Focus – Striker Titan
- Build – The Code of the Juggernaut
- Exotic Weapon – MIDA Multi-Tool
Unlike the ACD/0 Feedback Fence, you can actually do something with Synthocepts. The increased melee range can make even Warlocks envious. With the increased damage when surrounded, you can take down enemies with a single hit that would require two without Synthocepts.
This works well with the perks Counter and Knockout — you regenerate health when you take down enemies with melee attacks, and with critical hits, the damage further increases. Combined with the MIDA Multi-Tool, you’re also quicker in the fray and out again. Let your opponents feel the true meaning of the words Punch-Bro!
Exotic shoulders are also recommended for Sentinel Titans with the Code of the Juggernaut. Just set up a Ward of Dawn and let the enemies come to you!
