You found an exotic armor for the Titan in Destiny 2 and don’t know what to do with it? We introduce the Exotics and provide build suggestions.
Destiny 2 offers a wealth of exotic weapons and armors that can make your Guardian stronger. Choosing the right equipment is essential when you want to tackle the toughest content to secure critical advantages.
It should be noted: You can only equip one exotic weapon and one exotic armor at a time. So the choice of Exotics needs to be well thought out.
We now offer you a list of all exotic armors for the Titan. Which subclass and skill tree should you use with the exotic armor? Which exotic weapon is suitable?
[toc]

Unlike exotic weapons, armors are always class-specific. Titans, Hunters, and Warlocks have their own armor pieces that can only be equipped by their respective class.
Many exotic armors favor a specific playstyle, focus, or build. To give you an overview of all skills and foci of the Titan, we recommend the detailed class guide for the Titan!
An Insurmountable Skullfort
The exotic helmet “An Insurmountable Skullfort” makes its comeback in Destiny 2. The following exotic perk distinguishes the helmet:
- Kills with Arc melee abilities trigger health regeneration and restore melee energy

We recommend the following build if you want to try the An Insurmountable Skullfort:
- Focus – Striker Titan
- Build – Code of the Earthshaker
- Exotic Weapon – Risky Business
At first glance, the helmet seems more suited for the “Code of the Juggernaut” skill tree, as it favors a melee-oriented playstyle. Upon closer inspection, however, you can compensate for a significant disadvantage of the Earthshaker with the helmet: its lack of health regeneration.
The Code of the Earthshaker is a skill tree focused entirely on offense, offering no tools for recovery. The helmet perfectly covers this weakness.
The choice of exotic weapon is up to you, but the Risky Business (Submachine Gun) has a perk that is helpful when using an Arc focus. The Arc Conductor perk increases weapon damage and makes you more resistant to Arc damage. Just toss a pulse grenade at your feet and start shooting!
Mask of the Quiet One
The Mask of the Quiet One is a new helmet in Destiny 2, its exotic perk is called Feared Visage:
- Grants melee, grenade, and ability energy on damage taken. Void ability kills grant health regeneration

With the following “build,” you should play the Mask of the Quiet One:
- Focus – Sentinel Titan
- Build – The Code of the Attacker
- Exotic Weapon – Any
The Code of the Attacker offers two perks that reduce your cooldowns: Trenchcoat (reduces the cooldown time of the super) and Top Arsenal (grenade kills recharge the grenade). Together with the helmet, all your abilities recharge even faster, allowing you to get kills that initiate health regeneration.

The choice of exotic weapon is up to you — play with the weapon you like best!
