Bungie has revealed the start time for the new raid “Last Wish.” After the launch of Forsaken, you have ten days to prepare for the new challenge in Destiny 2.
Raids have always been one of the biggest challenges of the Destiny series and are among the most demanding group activities in Destiny 2. With the launch of the Forsaken expansion, the next raid will soon be introduced into the game.
In the current “This Week at Bungie” blog, Bungie has revealed when the new raid “Last Wish” will begin.
Forsaken Raid “Last Wish” – Start Time and More Information
When does it start? The launch of Last Wish and the World First race will begin on September 14, 2018. Guardians will have effectively ten days after the release of the autumn expansion to progress in Power and Character Level and prepare for the Forsaken raid.

Bungie gives Guardians time: With Forsaken, the complete Destiny experience only begins once the campaign is completed.
Players are expected to have plenty to do and climb many power levels, leading Bungie to decide to give Guardians more than just three days to prepare for the upcoming challenges of the new endgame activity.
The specific level requirements for the raid have not yet been revealed by the studio.
By the way: Although it is not officially confirmed yet, Last Wish is rumored to have both a normal mode and a prestige version according to a leak.
Furthermore, the leak suggests that there will be a special and unique raid challenge that requires players to complete the raid within 24 hours of its release.
As these are unconfirmed details, you should take them with the appropriate caution. However, the leak has been correct with almost all details so far – including the name of the Forsaken raid.
Who are we up against? This information has not been officially disclosed yet. However, fans have formulated some theories based on already available details and hints.
Some believe it is possible that you will encounter the Awoken Queen Mara Sov or Oryx’s sister Savathûn. Other fans speculate that it could also be a female Ahamkara. Since the raid itself will likely feature the Taken, a Taken boss is also conceivable for many.
According to the massive Forsaken leak, the raid boss is said to be “Dul Incaru, the Eternal Return.” Whether the leak will be proven right here remains to be seen.
Will there be raid wings? On September 14, only the main raid will go live initially. However, Bungie has already confirmed that they will stick to the raid wing model with Forsaken in the second year.
So far, two new raid wings are known, which will be introduced with the premium content “Black Armory” and “Penumbra” in December 2018 and summer 2019, respectively. They will only be available for owners of the Annual Pass.
What else is known?
- The new raid is said to fit thematically into the story of Forsaken. It is not a completely detached area.
- The raid is expected to offer more boss fights than all previous Destiny experiences. Thus, there should be at least five bosses.
- The raid is set deep in the heart of the Dreaming City, the new endgame hub of Forsaken.
- Bungie describes the raid as a mix of “Vault of Glass” and “Crota’s End” from Destiny 1.
- There are expected to be numerous puzzles, riddles, and secrets.
- The raid is said to be massive.
- At the heart of the Dreaming City (likely some kind of energy sphere), a “huge creature” awaits you.
