Merciless – The Boss Killer

Merciless is an exotic fusion rifle that is carried in the power slot. Some Guardians already refer to this weapon as “the Gjallarhorn in Destiny 2” because it excels in PvE activities for quickly killing hefty bosses – and can shine especially in the raid.

The Merciless deals solar damage, has a charge time of 900, and a large magazine of 8. These are the special perks:

• Movement Conservation: With non-lethal hits, the weapon charges faster until the player achieves a kill.
• Impetus: Reloading immediately after a kill increases damage for a short time.

When you’re in a boss fight, you kill a small enemy with the fusion rifle, reload, and then fire everything at the boss. Although the magazine empties quickly, since the weapon fires faster, you will deal an extreme amount of damage during that time.

In short: If you’re looking for a weapon to take down bosses quickly, you will enjoy the Merciless! The downside is that the Merciless is in the power slot. If you have no power ammo – which is scarce – you can’t do anything with this Exotic.
