Rank 2 – The Forward Path – Auto Rifle

The Forward Path is an auto rifle forged in honor of Weyloran. It is the first kinetic weapon on this list.

The advantages of this weapon lie in its reload speed, handling, high aim assist (71), and above-average stability. The magazine size and range could be better.

Here are the stats:

• Rate of Fire: 600
• Impact: 21 (17 crit, 13 body)
• Range: 50
• Stability: 48
• Reload Speed: 64
• Handling: 72
• Magazine Size: 43

Based on the stats alone, the Forward Path is an impressive weapon that has no real weaknesses. The optimal time-to-kill is 1.10 seconds (with 11 crits and 1 body shot). With only body shots, you need 1.5 seconds and 16 shots.

While the stats are excellent, the perks are lackluster:

• Adaptive Frame: A rounded grip, reliable and robust
• Tap It: The first pull of the trigger temporarily increases stability and precision.

The sights selection:

• Red Dot 2 MOA: Short zoom, increased range, increased weapon readiness speed
• Red Dot Micro: Little zoom, increased range, increased weapon readiness speed
• Rifle Scope SSF: Long zoom, increased range, decreased weapon readiness speed

Choice between:

• Armor-Piercing Rounds: Rounds deal additional damage to shields and penetrate targets. Increased range
• Extended Mag: Increased magazine size, decreased reload speed

“Tap It” is nice, but not a “game-changer”. In PvP, the Extended Mag is recommended.

In direct duels against the top auto rifle “Uriel’s Gift”, the Forward Path also faces challenges. Nevertheless, it is a strong weapon with which you can achieve some nice kills.
