In Destiny 2, you have the opportunity to unlock titles for your Guardians. We want to know which title is the most coveted for you.
With the release of the Forsaken expansion, titles entered the game in Destiny 2. Titles are special text overlays that appear in-game next to the player’s name and are visible to all other Guardians. They visually showcase extensive achievements and accomplishments that players have achieved in certain areas of the game.
Titles in Destiny 2 – A special customization option
This is what the titles bring: As titles, Guardians in Destiny 2 receive another way to stand out from the crowd. Earning titles in Destiny 2 generally involves great effort and a lot of time. So anyone who wears a title proudly shows that they have already achieved quite a bit in the game.
These are the titles you can chase: Currently, there are six titles in Destiny 2 that you can earn. Each of them focuses its requirements on a different area of the game. There is something for everyone:
- Riven’s Bane: You earn this title mostly through your achievements in the Forsaken raid “Last Wish”
- Cursebreaker: To claim this title, you must master almost everything the Dreaming City has to offer
- Chronicle: To call yourself Chronicle, you must search for the scattered in-game lore
- Unbroken: Here, you must prove your passion and endurance in the Crucible
- Dredgen: Dredgen honors your achievements in the Gambit mode
- Wanderer: For this title, you must embark on a long journey across all locations of Destiny 2 and discover the world
This is how fans see the titles: The hunt for titles evokes mixed feelings in the community.
There are numerous Guardians who see earning titles as a welcome change and additional long-term motivation. Furthermore, it is a cool way to stand out from the crowd. Many Destiny veterans have already wished for this in relation to Grimoire points.
However, there are also quite a few players who find this very grindy task completely unappealing and consider it a waste of time.
