You want to properly support your team in Destiny 2 ? We present you a Warlock build that focuses on team play and guarantees you the gratitude of the strike team.
This is what the build is about: We would like to present you a healing and supportive Warlock build.
In Destiny 2, while it’s mainly about shooting nasty aliens in the face while discussing the Oscars with your friends, as Franchise Director Luke Smith once pointed out, the aliens do shoot back from time to time. That’s when healing and support are needed.
With special gear and abilities, you always have a helping hand ready for your teammates. The configuration turns your Warlock into the first full-time healer in Destiny but still allows it to deal significant damage.

The Warlock as the strongest healer on the battlefield
This is what you need for the support build: To make your Warlock a supporter and your teammates almost immortal, you need the following things:
- The exotic hand cannon Lumina – The revolver can heal allies and also grant a damage buff.
- The exotic armor Stuart Protocol – You have two fusion grenades with the robe. These grenades recharge from empowered weapon damage. Kills with fusion grenades give you Rift energy back.
- The tuning of the grace of the Dawn Blade – The Dawn Blade has its own healing abilities and a super that creates an area with powerful healing and buffs.
If you want to make your healer build in Destiny 2 even more effective, focus on mods that reduce ability cooldowns and increase resilience.

This is how to play the Warlock build: Especially in PvP, opposing guardians will be frustrated, as in every firefight you and your strike team either have full health, overshields, or additional damage.
Whenever you encounter enemies or want to hold an area, activate your Rift. Alternatively, activate your subclass’s special grenade function. Both abilities leave a small area with a regenerative field behind. Standing in it will heal your health instantly or provide an overshield.
If you shoot down an enemy with Lumina, a sphere will appear. This empowers you to fire a homing projectile at your allies. This will heal the affected ally and grant a damage buff, just like you.
This way, you can chain kill after kill and overwhelm your helpless adversaries. If an enemy gets too close, hit him in melee. This activates another short-term damage buff for you and nearby allies.
With the ability “Kindly Dawn”, you regenerate melee, Rift, and grenade energy whenever you provide support or heal. This also applies to Lumina’s noble shots.
In short: you have at least one support ability ready in every battle.
It is important that you spend most of your time with your allies. Especially in coordinated teams, you can benefit greatly.
This is what the creator of the build says: The presented build comes from PvP expert Aztecross. He states that he is actually a Titan main, but this build is one of his absolute favorites. The various synergies are just incredibly fun and also strong.
The only thing that slows down the build a bit is the main ingredient itself. Because Lumina by itself is currently not a top weapon. He cites the strange “hit registration” as the reason – that is, the hit behavior.
The revolver has too often had to deal with Ghost Bullets, in his opinion. If Bungie were to fix this problem, the weapon would become meta overnight.
Furthermore, he finds the role-playing elements make the build so cool. You have the choice whether you want to deal damage or support. That makes Destiny special and sets it apart from other shooters. He wishes for more RPG-like options in the game.
