The players have found a new farming target in Destiny 2. To obtain the Nightfall-exclusive hand cannon T.V.O., some players resort to speed farming, while others do not shy away from cheeses.
Even though the release of the next DLC “Warmind” on May 8 is still a bit away, there is again something for players to work towards in Destiny 2 with the Nightfall strike-exclusive weapons.
A particular highlight is the new hand cannon T.V.O., which can only be obtained in the Nightfall version of the “Tree of Probabilities” strike. As the strike score increases, so does the chance of being able to hold the new weapon in hand.
Since this weapon, with its excellent stats, rivals even competitors like The Old Fashioned or Better Devils in some aspects, it can only be found in the Nightfall version of the Osiris strike, so some players do not hesitate to resort to less honorable means to increase their chances of getting the T.V.O.
Other Guardians rely on incredible speed and even take down the strike boss in just a few moments.
Players Cheese Their Way to T.V.O.
The players have now developed methods not only to simplify the Nightfall “Tree of Probabilities” but also to leave with a high score.
One method utilizes a cheese that we pointed out a few weeks ago. One of the players goes into a nearby Lost Sector and repeatedly fights the enemies that, strangely enough, contribute to the Nightfall scoring.
Meanwhile, the remaining members clean up the strike. In a video, one player dismantled the Nightfall to the extent that he could show the best spots to hide and take out enemies without drawing aggro. We decided not to include this video due to the sensitive nature of the matter.
Together, this represents an easy method to not only make the strike easier but also to achieve particularly high scoring.
Speed to the Nightfall Hand Cannon
Another, less questionable method for farming the T.V.O. is a speedrun, where the strike team does not waste time and does not engage with adds. Instead, they rush directly to the boss and even defeat him in the first phase.
With this strategy, it is easy to reach the boss of the strike in five to six minutes and quickly repeat it.
In line with this, Bungie will soon increase the difficulty level in PvE
