For Destiny 2, a new crossover has been announced: they have partnered with Assassin’s Creed to equip Guardians with new cosmetics.
What is this crossover about? Via Twitter, the official “Destiny 2” account announced that they have teamed up with Ubisoft.
In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, players will be able to purchase a Destiny 2 character pack, featuring armor sets, swords, and skins. Additionally, there will be weapons inspired by Destiny’s classes (via Ubisoft.com).
Meanwhile, in Destiny 2, cosmetics will come to the Eververse store. There will be an AC ship, Sparrow, Ghost, and three ornament sets.
When does the crossover start? The tweet mentions December 6 as the date for the new cosmetics to arrive in Destiny 2.
And one particular set seems to have caught players’ attention.
New Warlock set immediately attracts fans
This is what players say: Shortly after the announcement, fans reacted to the new crossover. The Warlock set, in particular, seems to have captivated some players.
Fans are not quite sure if the set is based on Altair or Ezio, but it seems to be emerging as a favorite nonetheless. One user associates the outfits with the Assassins: “It looks like Warlocks got Altair, Titans got Eivor, and Hunters got Kassandra.” The user continues on reddit: “Finally, Warlocks are ahead.”
- “Damn, the new Warlock helm is Spicy,” writes a user (via reddit).
- “Nice, a good Warlock helm without unicorn horns,” another user rejoices (via reddit).
- “I’m not that interested in AC anymore, but I’m looking forward to a bit of Assassin’s drip in Destiny” (via reddit).
However, other sets are also well received by various players. A few users suggest that maybe they shouldn’t stop here. User “just_a_timetraveller” suggests for example that they should just introduce sea shanties in Destiny (via reddit) – similar to what was done on the ship in AC Black Flag.

This is not the first time that Destiny 2 has initiated a crossover with another game. For example, there were ornaments in Fortnite style in Destiny 2, while in Fortnite a new mode in Destiny style was launched.
