In Destiny 2, players can recently test a new and innovative mode in PvP: Sparrow Control. What kind of mode this is and why players are celebrating it so much, you can find out here.
What kind of mode is this? It is the new mode “Sparrow Control”. This mode was recently implemented with the Weekly Reset in Destiny 2 and is already delighting many bored Guardians of PvP. You’re wondering why the mode is so well received? The keyword is: Variety.
In this mode, players can hop on their Sparrows and capture zones like in Control. Just this one little addition with the Sparrows leads to absurd moments in PvP where Guardians are simply run over.
The new meta: Guardians running over with Sparrows
The Reddit user Saint_Broseph155 demonstrated on Reddit how absurd the mode looks in action. He, as a big Titan, hops on his Micro Mini (one of the smallest Sparrows in the game) and immediately darts to the enemy side.

After he has traveled a short distance, he focuses on his first victims and runs over the Guardians with a quick boost. But it doesn’t stop there; the Titan continues his spree and charges further into the enemy base, running over another player until he is finally shot off his Sparrow and explodes.
Despite the suicide mission, his kill count was strong, and he managed to eliminate up to 4 players.
What do fans say about the new mode? Fans are excited about Sparrow Control. Although only Sparrows were added to a dusty mode, this small change alone brings a lot of fun and variety among the Guardians. Nevertheless, many miss the well-known mode SRL (Sparrow Racing League) from Destiny 1. The following comments can be heard:
