Less than 2 weeks before the start of Season 13, Destiny 2 now provides a first look at its new “Trials of Osiris” armor for the upcoming season. It’s well received, but is it enough to lure players into the Crucible?
On February 9, it’s happening. The new Season 13 will start in Destiny 2. This will bring numerous adjustments and new content, as well as fresh loot for the Guardians. And now Bungie has already teased what players can look forward to in the PvP pinnacle activity “Trials of Osiris” in the next season.

This armor is supposed to lure players into the Trials soon
This is what the new Trials armor looks like: The official Twitter account of Destiny has now posted the first images of the new Trials armor from Season 13. However, only the head and parts of the upper body and shoulders are visible, not the complete armor.

Is that enough?
As usual, there’s a lively discussion surrounding the new armor. Most players receive it very positively in terms of appearance. But is it enough to lure players into the Crucible, or rather into the Trials of Osiris?
This is what players say: The new Trials armor is viewed with mixed feelings.
Some players say they are quite willing to “suffer” in PvP for this cool set or even die in the Trials just for the chance to have one of the new set pieces drop from the weekly bounty. After all, one only needs to “participate” to complete it. And later, they can use transmog to transfer this cool look to other armor pieces.
Others want to wait and see what the complete armor looks like in the end. After all, only a part of it is visible so far.
Yet again (many) others say that while these new sets look really great, it still wouldn’t motivate them to set foot in the current PvP, let alone in the Trials. After all, the Trials or the Crucible in general have had very different issues for quite a while now than the appearance of the armors.
Some also say they do not like the armors visually or are completely indifferent to it. Or joke that they want to wait and see if and when the Trials will actually start after all the upcoming nerfs and buffs for the new season. After all, in Season 12, they started only weeks late after several delays.
