Here’s what you need to know today: A new week in Destiny 2 and another week with a new patch. Many problems and issues are plaguing the loot shooter, but some of them are supposed to be fixed today.

Maintenance on 04/23 – All Times for Server Downtime
These times are important today: Bungie informs its players via x.com (formerly Twitter) about the exact downtime. The servers are planned to be unreachable for 3 hours and 15 minutes.
This is what the maintenance schedule looks like:
- At 3:00 PM, background maintenance starts on all platforms.
- At around 3:45 PM, the servers will go offline. Players will be automatically kicked from the game.
- At 7:00 PM, the shooter should be back online and you can log in again.
- The maintenance will continue in the background until 11:00 PM.
Also, keep in mind that third-party applications as well as the official companion app may also be inaccessible for a while, so you won’t be able to use them.
What Changes with the New Update in Season 23
The following issues are known: Even in the season of wishes, many problems are reported by players. Bungie has some on the radar, but it’s not known which ones will be fixed (via bungie.net). The following bugs could be addressed:
- There are supposed to be significant changes regarding the sandbox for PvP.
- The fireteam finder is missing some options like adding Bungie friends.
- Some legendary emotes are sorted along with exotic emotes.
- Veist weapons can only be partially rotated when inspected.
- The shotgun “Striving of the Thought Twister” no longer glows when fired.
- Some rocket launchers do not appear when inspected.
- Old artifacts are still displayed in players’ inventories.
