A new week in Destiny 2 means a new patch with various bug fixes for the loot shooter. When the server downtime begins this time, you can find out here.
What you need to know today: A week after the release of the free event “Into the Light,” Bungie is still not finished patching the broken spots of Destiny 2. That’s why the developers are shutting down the servers for a short time today.
MeinMMO will keep you updated. We will tell you how long the downtime will last. Additionally, we will update this article as soon as there is new information.
Maintenance on 16.04. – All times for server downtime
These times are important today: Bungie informs its players via x.com (formerly Twitter) about the exact downtime. The servers are planned to be unreachable for 3 hours and 20 minutes today.
This is what the maintenance schedule looks like:
- At 3:00 PM, background maintenance will start on all platforms.
- At around 3:40 PM, the servers will go offline. Players will be automatically kicked from the game.
- At 7:00 PM, the shooter is expected to be back online, and you can log in again.
- The maintenance will continue in the background until 9:00 PM.
Also, keep in mind that third-party applications and the official companion app may also be unavailable for a while, so you won’t be able to use them.
What changes with the new update in Season 23
The following issues are known: Even in the Season of Wishes, there are many issues that players have to complain about. Bungie has some of them on the radar, but it is not known which ones will be fixed (via bungie.net). However, the following bugs could be addressed:
- Significant changes to the sandbox for PvP are to be rolled out.
- The fireteam finder is missing some options, such as adding Bungie friends.
- Some legendary emotes are sorted with exotic emotes.
- Veist rifles can only be partially rotated when inspected.
- The shotgun “Striving of the Mindbender” no longer glows when fired.
- Some rocket launchers are no longer displayed when inspected.
- Old artifacts are still displayed in players’ inventories.
