This week, the 7.3.5.1 update will be released for Destiny 2. You can find out here how long the update will take, what the downtime looks like, and what you should know about the content.
This is what you need to know today: Destiny 2 will be undergoing maintenance today. This means the servers will go offline, and you will not be able to play for a while. This is a longer downtime that will be over in a few hours.

Maintenance on March 12 – All Times for Server Down
These times are important today: Bungie informs its players via x.com (formerly Twitter) about the exact downtime. The servers are planned to be down for 3 hours and 15 minutes today.
This is the maintenance schedule:
- The background maintenance starts on all platforms at 2:00 PM.
- At around 2:45 PM, the servers will go offline. Players will be automatically kicked from the game.
- At 6:00 PM, the shooter should be back online and you can log in again.
- The maintenance will continue in the background until 8:00 PM.
Also, please keep in mind that third-party applications and the official companion app may also not be reachable for a while, so you may not be able to use them.
Changes with the new update in Season 23
The following issues are known: Even in the Season of Wishes, there are many problems that players are complaining about. Bungie has a few on their radar (via bungie.net), but it is not known which of them will be fixed. The following bugs could be addressed:
- Major changes regarding the sandbox for PvP are to be rolled out
- The fireteam finder is missing some options like adding Bungie friends
- Some legendary emotes are sorted with exotic emotes
- Veist rifles can only be partially rotated when inspected
- The shotgun “Striving of the Mind-Turner” no longer glows when fired
- Some rocket launchers are no longer displayed when inspected
- Old artifacts are still displayed in players’ inventories
