Bungie is working on Destiny 2 today, Thursday. A server downtime has been announced. During this time, two updates will be deployed, one of which is PC-specific.
All important times:
- At 5 PM our time, preparations for the maintenance will begin. You will not be able to log in anymore. This applies to both Destiny 2 and Destiny 1.
- At 6 PM the servers will be shut down. All Guardians currently active will be roughly removed. So make sure to finish up before that.
- By 9 PM the maintenance work will be completed. Keep in mind that Bungie rarely adheres to this time estimate. The servers may come back online much earlier or much later.
Two updates are coming on 16.11.
During today’s maintenance, two updates will be deployed:
- Update 1.0.7 will be released on all platforms (PS4, Xbox One, PC)
- Update 1.0.7.1 will be released exclusively on PC.

These updates will be made available during the maintenance. You can already download and install them before the servers are back online. You may need to manually check on your platform if the update is already available.
What new features these updates will bring is traditionally revealed by Bungie only when they are already live. We will report on it.
During the maintenance, you can take the time to browse our Destiny 2 guide collection or read the summary of the first livestream for “Curse of Osiris”.
Throughout the day, we will gather some new information and images regarding “Curse of Osiris” and present them to you. So keep an eye on our “Destiny 2” page and our “Destiny 2 Mein MMO” Facebook page.
