The new episode: Revenant launches in Destiny 2, bringing a new season, story, and more. However, before you can enjoy the new content, you must first endure maintenance. You can find all the information about the downtime here.
According to Bungie, you should be able to log in without problems after the download.
What you need to know today: The second episode of Destiny 2 launches this evening. With Revenant, the Guardians must face a familiar threat stemming from the Scorn. Fikrul, the Scorn Baron, who just won’t die, is gathering an army of new vampire minions that you must defeat. First, however, Bungie will take down its servers to upload the new update.
Maintenance on 08.10. – All times for server downtime
These times are important today: Bungie informs its players on bungie.net about the exact downtime. The servers are planned to be unavailable for 3 hours and 15 minutes today.
This is the maintenance schedule:
- At 3:00 PM, background maintenance will start on all platforms.
- At around 3:45 PM, the servers will go offline. Players will be automatically kicked from the game.
- At 7:00 PM, the shooter should be back online, and you can log in again.
- The maintenance will continue in the background until 9:00 PM.
Also, be aware that third-party applications and the official companion app may also be unavailable for a while, so you won’t be able to use them.
What changes with the new update in Revenant
The following issues are known: There are also many issues in The Final Shape that players are complaining about. Bungie has noted some, but it is not known which ones will be fixed (via bungie.net). However, the following bugs could be addressed:
- Gunpowder Gambling prevents the activation of the healing effect “Facet of Restoration” for the Hunter’s Prism focus.
- Gunpowder Gambling prevents the activation of the weapon perk “Adrenaline Junkie” for the Hunter’s Prism focus.
- The IX Shell can glow extremely bright with certain shaders.
- The Anomalous Action pistol shows 0 in the range stat.
- The exotic rocket launcher Double-Tailed Fox does not receive elemental weapon surge armor mods.
