In Destiny 2 the Weekly Reset starts with a new patch for the loot shooter. What you should know about the downtime and upcoming content can be found here in our overview of the server down.
What you need to know today: Today Bungie will take its servers down again. The reason for this is an important patch that is supposed to adjust Xur. After this update, he will also be able to sell exotic class items. We will accompany you during the downtime and provide you with the exact downtime.
Maintenance on 20.08. – All times for the server down
These times are important today: Bungie informs its players via x.com (formerly Twitter) about the exact downtimes. The servers are scheduled to be unavailable today for 3 hours and 15 minutes.
This is the schedule for the maintenance:
- At 3:00 PM, background maintenance will start on all platforms.
- At around 3:45 PM, the servers will go offline. Players will be automatically kicked from the game.
- At 7:00 PM, the shooter is expected to be back online and you can log in again.
- The maintenance will continue in the background until 9:00 PM.
Also, keep in mind that third-party applications as well as the official Companion App may not be reachable correctly for a while, so you cannot use them.
What changes with the new update in Echos: Act 2
The following issues are known: There are many problems in The Final Shape that players have to complain about. Bungie has some on their list, but it is not known which of them will be fixed (via bungie.net). The following bugs could, however, be addressed:
- For PC players with activated 3D audio, the audio output in the game does not work.
- When crafting class-specific exotic glaives, the error code “Weasel” appears.
- When playing on PlayStation with activated 3D audio, the audio output does not work.
- The slam attack with the consecration no longer shatters stasis crystals.
- Heat Wave is not activated when gliding or mid-jump.
- The diamond lance no longer shatters stasis crystals.
- The wish bearer title has been revoked from players who previously received it.
