Maintenance on 12/12 – All Times for Server Downtime
These times are important today: Bungie informs its players via Twitter/X about the planned downtime. The planned downtime will again be 2 hours and 45 minutes.
This is what the maintenance schedule looks like:
- At 2:00 PM, background maintenance will start on all platforms.
- At around 3:15 PM, the servers will go offline. Players will be automatically kicked from the game.
- During the downtime, Bungie will gradually roll out update 7.3.0.3, so that players on all platforms can download and install it.
- At 6:00 PM, the shooter is expected to be online again, and you can log in.
- The maintenance will continue in the background until 8:00 PM.
What Changes with Update 7.3.0.3 in Season 23
The following issues are currently on Bungie’s to-do list:
- Based on initial player reactions, the mode “Iron Banner Tribute” will be replaced by “Iron Banner Control” for the rest of the week. The change will take effect after the update.
- Iron Banner is meant to be a celebration of PvP, and Bungie wants to ensure that everyone has a positive experience while playing. An improved tribute experience will be back soon.
- The buff “Scorching Wish” applies scorch continuously in various ways on players in the activity “The Twisting”.
- The catalyst quest “Breath of the Dragon” is not progressing in S23 activities.
- When the automatic melee setting is enabled, glaives almost always perform double melee attacks.
- The “Gambit Legacy Armor” costs 15,000 Legendary Shards to focus instead of Glimmer.
- The cards of the Great Arcana in Season of the Witch incorrectly state that they expire at the end of Season 22 rather than at the end of Season 23.
- Some emojis in the fireteam finder will not be available at the start of the beta test on certain platforms.
- The dismantle perk does not refund ammunition for fusion rifles correctly.
- Checkmate Control does not count towards weekly challenge progress.
- The pulse rifle “Belisar-D” no longer drops for players who complete their placement matches in the competitive crucible.
- The title “Star Baker” is no longer available.
- Some rocket launchers will no longer be displayed in the preview screen.
- New dungeon and season armor sets will be displayed in players’ appearance screens even if they are not unlocked.
- Activity Ghost Mods use placeholder icons.
- Occasionally, Eva Levante’s head may be missing.
- Veist automatic rifles can partially rotate off-screen in the inspection view.
- Players can die from finishers when the enemy dies before the finisher animation completes.
- The armor mods “Powerful Friends” and “Radiant Light” require at least one armor charge to activate.
- The resilience stat calculates damage resistance from the previous tier when it is a multiple of 10. A resilience of 100 provides the intended benefit appropriately.
- If you die in the boss arena of the Hyper-Net stream strike, the Guardian’s ghost may get stuck in the ground.
- Player name changes are not endlessly customizable on bungie.net. Several “Number Guardians” continue to wait for the option to change their player name again instead of receiving the message “You have no name changes available”.
