What changes with update 6.2.5.3 in Season 18
With the start of Season 19 in early December, Destiny 2 will further adjust the abilities of the Guardians. Bungie is not only confronting the gunslinger but also giving changes to the other classes on the way to more balance in the new DLC Lightfall.
However, today’s hotfix 6.2.5.3 for Season 18 initially addresses 2 of the most annoying weapon problems in the Crucible and aims to fix other issues in the game.
Current list of known issues:
- Certain shaders sometimes apply incorrect patterns to parts of the Festival of the Lost’s mech armor sets. Here’s the note: Once these issues are resolved, these shaders may be displayed differently on the armor sets.
- A badge from Season 16 dropped in the seasonal challenge “Planned Authority” in week 10.
- The source for the exotic ship “Retro-Tourer” is incorrect.
- The weekly bounties from Eva Levante did not grant the correct amount of glimmer after the release of hotfix 6.2.5.2. Bungie plans to refund this at a later time.
- Load times on the Tower are still slow, despite a limitation of concurrent players to a maximum of 16. Guardians still have to resort to the H.E.L.M. to circumvent this bug. Bounties can be purchased via the official Bungie app.
- Name changes for players are not customizable via bungie.net. Players are still waiting for the option to adjust their player names multiple times instead of just once.
If you encounter any problems in the game, it is recommended to report them directly through the official Bungie help forum to alert the developers.
