In Destiny 2 is update time again. Hotfix 6.2.5.2 will be rolled out this evening, bringing new fixes to the servers. We will again accompany you through the downtime.
This is what you need to know today: On Tuesday, November 1st, it’s update time again. This means Guardians will need to briefly interrupt their game for Hotfix 6.2.5.2 in Season 18 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, on PC, and on Google Stadia.

18:00: The hotfix is complete and the download on Steam is exactly 99.4 MB. Further down in the article you will find the corresponding patch notes
17:45: The servers of Destiny 2 are now offline for maintenance. Now we have to wait until 18:00.
16:45: In 60 minutes, the servers of Destiny 2 will be taken offline for the update. Players should plan for the upcoming downtime in their activities.

Maintenance on 01.11. – All times and server downtime
Bungie announces exact downtime for each update when players cannot play. We provide this information in our article with the German times so you can better plan your gaming evening.
How long will the servers be down? Overview of all times:
- At 17:00 German time, maintenance work will start in the background on all platforms.
- From 17:45 the servers will go offline and you will be automatically kicked from all activities.
- Around 18:00 the servers are expected to go back online and update 6.2.5.2 will be rolled out for all platforms. You can then log back into the game.
- Even when the servers are online, maintenance officially continues until 19:00.
Also, keep in mind that third-party applications as well as the official companion app may not be accessible correctly for a while after the update.
What changes with update 6.2.5.2 in Season 18
Current list of known issues:
- Some players may encounter issues where they cannot place relics earned in the weekly quest “Sails of the Ship Thief” in the H.E.L.M.
- Players cannot purchase looted umbral energy from the premium season pass rewards for Season 18 until they have completed the introductory mission for Season 18.
